i understood what you said ..but as the last year has driven into me .

you can only help people get better lives who are putting in the effort to improve their lives .

we tend to try and help people by spending vast amounts of effort getting them to make changes they do not want to make .

it turns out efforts to try and help people who do not want to change can result in those involved being worse off .

if you are going to help people help people from your place of abundance not your place of lack or guilt .

though i never got into network marketing most of the motivational stuff was geared for it ..and i think jim roan said it best

you have your people who will make 300 dollars a month ..and it will be life changing ..and they will sto their .. leave them alone

you have your 1000 dollar a month people who will stop their and be happy leave them alone

then if you get people higher than that and want to make more work with them..

tim ferris went into a similar thing when he described restructuring his company to go from working 100 hours a week to being able to travel the world .

we tend to spend a huge amount of time and effort on our least productive clients or activities ..and ignore the value of the most productive ..because we feel we have to do something .

the economy of the Us has stagnated the last 6 years ..because the majority of people have thought in terms of how to get more from the rich..rather what was the traditional mindset of how to enrich more people ..

but despite the best efforts of the government a new economy has formed and we are about to see an economic boom that will have to be measured with more than just the amount of money in the economy ..because part of this boom is based on cutting out much of the waste so more gets done with less money .

They had an idea, and they DID something. They acted and didn't take "no" for an answer.

Remember, the average millionaire has failed 17 times. But they don't focus on that. They simply made a decision, focused on the positive, and moved forward in consistent action.

Most fail because, possibly just before a major breakthrough, they stopped or got trapped in the "waiting" game. They wait for a circumstance to change or for the stars to align.

But the problem with depending upon certain circumstances is that they are ever-changing, and if a certain circumstance is required for success, you are always ever only a circumstance a way from failure.

It's about consistent action NOW in service of something greater.

The names you mentioned have also shown that they love what they are doing. Look at Warren Buffet. The man has more wealth than I can even imagine, but he is not in a rush to grow his wealth. Sure, he makes billions of dollars, but his investments are always long term.

All too often we get stuck in the mindset that money needs to come to us now instead of thinking that what we are doing today will solidify our future. Start now, start laying the foundation for your life and you will help others succeed, grow your own wealth and be happy that you took action.

Great observation, I really haven't looked at it that way before.

This kind of reminds me of a chapter I read in Wallace D. Wattles, "The Science of Getting Rich" The Impression of Increase. It talks about always giving more value to people than you take from them and if you help many others get rich at the same time you are, you are bringing more value to everyone.

I do not agree. Those never thought how to make others rich. I happened along the way and for big things, you need others.

I think the biggest "secret" is persistence and believing in what you are doing.

I agree, but Bill was not sitting in his house or wherever he started, thinking "What should I create so others can get rich." He did it for himself. When he became successful, others came on his path and helped / followed him. For big things you need many people.
