I sure as hell do. More lately than ever before. To the point where for the first time in my life I've begun worrying that I might be doing some damage to my health.

Tonight, I came across this Ted Talk. I think this might be one of the most helpful videos I've ever seen. I don't imagine I will ever feel stress the same way again.

Yes, stress is a part of life. But your body can handle it and recover. The problem is, personal problems. They are the big issue. Because they are on your mind every time you relax. If you have personal problems, you have stress all day long. And that is a problem. This could be the source for needing alcohol. If you cannot relax without alcohol, you have too many problems.

I would say that if you cannot relax without alcohol, then you are the problem. We don't have problems. We just have a lot of complaints and a lot of substances to abuse and hide behind. Want to see problems? Check out Africa.

750 million people don't have access to clean drinking water. That's a problem.

Many are struggling with themselves. Yes, it is on a different level as not having clean drink water, but many do have problems. Depression, aggression, self harming, are serious personal problems. Some are ending their lives for this, so do not under estimate this. A depressed person feels depressed most of the day. For outsiders it looks like complaining about nothing, but it is not like that for that person. Telling that many do not have clean drinking water, is not helping him / her.

I did not watch the video, but I will tell you this. Stress is a normal reaction in our lives. How we deal with it is the key.

Ever since I started taking an over the counter sleep aid from Target I sleep like a baby 7-8 hours a night and everything in my life seems to be a piece of cake including stress. There is nothing like being well rested for dealing with the curves life throws us.

    Good video!

Stress is nothing but a signal, a signal that you're moving away from who you really are, to some person, an average person, depending on people and conditions for their lot in life.

I stress here and there, but largely feel at peace because I see good happening, trust in the Universe, and don't depend on people, and conditions, for my wealth...because The Invisible is my cosmic bank lol!

    Thanks all

This was very helpful, thanks Rob. It really did change my thinking.

I realized that I do have a negative outlook on stress... but I see that creates more stress!!

When in reality you can't prevent every stress, fear and anxiety, sometimes it just happens.

So best to let it come and go without adding to it by thinking the stress will give you a heart attack and get scared of it!

Ive been self employed more entire left and it causes you to lose weight, can't sleep, cant even decide what to eat.. panic attacks.. gerk and kick at night.. you name it. Try music, get you a sandbox in the backyard to build some sand castles, pickout a fruit that you really enjoy that you dont eat much and keep one super cold for those moments that you need your quiet time.. learn to play piano. But in reality.. stress is good and it drives us forward. When you can't take it anymore.. learn to deal with it.

This is exactly the video that I needed to see. I often deal with stress well, but sometimes I let it alter my personality and mood too much. Viewing stress as not a bad thing is actually a sigh of relief.

We all have stress and frustrations.

Even the best of the best of internet marketing have it at some point.

It is how you deal with them that makes the difference.
