We all get a bit down or negative at some point in life or while networking, so i like to put this question to you.

How do you stay positive if or when you get negative comments with people ?

I just wrote piece on my blog:

Positive Thinking Goes A Long Way | Networking

My opinion you must take a positive out of a negative all the time. And sometimes have a think skin

The trick is to have lot of positive around you, read about it, watch video, write about it and have lot of positive peoples around you.

As i allways say, don`t fight negative with negative as it`s only doing more negative, just focus on increasing the positive and it will push negative out of the way !!!

In my opinion staying positive is cheating your mind by having different perspective in life. I walk and take some fresh air to see some good views in the mountain top to release some bad vibes. Talking and getting with other persons that are positive in life w/c had same aspirations as me.

intent focus on an end goal ..is the answer ..

i don't think if a crazy person can be positive about getting a few teeth pulled..

shit happens..and quite often ..now you can spend a whole boat load of energy trying to be positive or get positive or motivated or what ever .. but when you have a very strong end goal ..when the shit happens ..it should reinforce and accelerate you efforts to get that goal ..

    claw22,

I have learned to ignore negative comments and negative people.... I believe what you focus on will increase....

For me, I stay positive by writing down tasks for the day in my notebook......

As I finish each task, I check it off....

At the end of the day, I review my accomplishments for the day.... This makes me feel grateful and postive about what I've accomplished...

In the morning, I create a new list of tasks on a new page...

    Rich ,

a little curios at why you mentioned my name ..but .

daily lists are a part of keeping on track to achieve long term goals ..as they help to ground you to do what is needed today ..and by having that.. it becomes less a matter of will power , needing to be motivated ..or staying positive ..and more just doing what needs to be done .

it is much easier to stay positive ..if you are prepared and equipped to deal with when things are going wrong .

I play Tetris, keeps my mind off the negativity and focused on building those blocks right to win the game... lol. But seriously, I read an article about soldiers with PTSD and playing Tetris was shown to have a positive effect on them.

Reading positive, interesting books and listening to audio programs is a constant, daily motivator.

I keep positive by taking action. Force myself to "do things" on my list and getting them done. Getting things on your list done achieves 2 things; #1 getting closer to your goal and # 2 keeps you busy so you do not have time to be negative. So if you feel negative, DO SOMETHING on your list of things to do. You DO have a list of things to do right?

I'm new to making money online but with anything in life - I've always had the methodology of keeping my eye on the bigger picture and using that to focus.

So take negatives as positives and as though they are steps closer to reaching your goals.

It's all about winning the war - not the battle

But "a war" are sum of every single battle. Which mean, looking big picture to be positive also contains focus on specific things.

I thing that always help to synchronized both positive and negative.. How about that?

My way for staying positive is writing something that keep me focus on positive thing in MY BLOG , sharing with people positive thing and keep conditioning myself in positive manner.

Human is what they focus on and who are they interact with, so just commenting this post i feel more positive

In order to stay positive, you must surround yourself with positivity. Engage in a group of friends or business partners that you find uplifting and encouraging. Write encouraging notes to yourself and put them wherever you work. Reward yourself after a day of hard work by doing something fun. You can't have your nose to the grindstone every moment of every day. You must learn how to relax just as much as you need to learn how to focus on your work.

I think creating a warm and positive environment is the biggest key.

No matter how dire something may look, you try to find something positive from the situation, and go on with your task for the day.

There are three things that work for me

1 - Change the meaning of things that makes you feel negative
      2 - Gratitude
3 - Appreciate and embrace the imperfection - only imperfection can make you stronger.

Be aware of your negativity and practice your emotional muscle everyday will make you stronger!

Surround yourself with positivity. Wake up to a positive video, audio, or book and whenever you feel yourself getting negative, do something positive. Eventually, positivity will become a part of

Demand positivity in your life and eliminate negativity. Look for the positive in every situation. Easier said than done, but it gets easier with daily practice.

This may sound elementary but I invite anyone to try it.

Next time you're upset, down, or feeling negative, do this:

Smile. Hold the smile for a second or two. Then smile again.
