Has The Word 'God' (or Higher Power) Become A Bad Word?

In this modern age, we are in general a lot more sophisticated in our education, beliefs and understanding. Things like the original concept of Churches being devised as a means to control and communicate to a population. Radical and extremist views of the minority, manipulated by professional talented speakers to provide a convincing argument for a silent majority.

Whose to say if there is or isn't a god or many gods floating around up there, or if all life is made up of spiritual energy. There's only one way to find out, and no one I know has ever come back to tell me.

In the UK from my experience, we are not big on religious preaching, and there is a healthy under current of cynicism. Which is why some cultures probably get too much bad press. But Church to a lot of people is simply community, and almost a throw back to simpler times, helping your neighbour, supporting a local cause.

I don't think the word God has become a bad word, it's just over analysed and abused by media pundits, as it makes easy headlines.

Everything in this world including religion, government, educational system, economic system, medical system, corporations, the big monopolies, etc. is set up to control humans and keep us locked in the matrix or machine. This is becoming very clear to most people.

In my mind, this is a failing of man. Because man likes to control for his own personal gain.

However when we talk about LOA or Mind power how can we not talk about the Higher Power? We are talking about a greater power, a greater intelligence, a greater creativity that we gain access to that was not accessible to us before in man's limited or ego self. So we are learning how to tap into the greater energies of the Universe, right? LOA and Higher Power go hand in hand.

The Higher Power had nothing to do with controlling or manipulating beliefs in the name of religion. That was some men's doing, for their own benefit.

So we cannot throw the baby out with the bathwater. We have to throw some controlling religions out but we have to keep Spirit or the Higher Power or energy. That is my take on it.

Otherwise forget talking about LOA, mind power, spiritual healing or anything like that. You can't have these tools without Spirit or energy. What do you think?

It is organized religion that is to blame also. The source may have been spiritual. Like Jesus may have been spiritual (spiritual, not religious). There is nothing to blame in that. But then people formed around it and created organization. Created a religion. Then corruption came as it always does. And then people start believing the corrupted verions and forcing their beliefs down our throats.

As long as Spirit (or Higher Power) is not a bad word. That is what I was confused about and kind of worried about. Because connection with Spirit is one of the greatest points of transition to allow us to access the higher parts of us, higher power, intelligence, etc. And live in greater balance.

But I am also finding that since so many are resisting the religions version of God, they are also losing this possibility or understanding that a Higher, better life is possible for them. That they have access to greater power, greater skills they never knew they had (I have discovered tons of skills, abilities & talents through working with this spiritual energy!)

This is all part of what I call "Smoke and Mirrors" that we live our lives through these days!

I love this video, because it breaks through the smoke & mirrors very effectively & fast! A large part of the smoke and mirrors is created by an organized belief that the rational / logical mind should rule our lives that this video very effectively shatters.

The reason you identify with God as this old man in the sky is because you have been indoctrinated by the religion version of God. I have not.

The way many spiritual people and I define God is energy pure and simple. Life Force Energy. The Great Spirit (native Amierican). Chi or Ki (Chinese). Prana (Indian) E=MC squared (science).

So if God is energy, our perspective is not do we worship this or obey this energy as the religionists want you to do. Our perspective is how do we USE this energy to better ourselves and our world. To have greater power, intelligence and creativity. Just like electricity is energy. The point is to learn to use it not worship it. We want to run fans, lights, motors and electronics (with the electricity).

Now learning how to use this superconscious ability in my perspective is a very natural thing for humans to do. The only reason everyone doesn't do it is because they block themselves from it. Many are afraid to discover how powerful we really are. There is also the smoke and mirrors in our world whose purpose is to keep humans locked in the machine or matrix. Religions and government and educational system and economic system, corporations, etc. etc. they don't want people to understand their power. They want to keep us in the dark. As more and more people demonstrate it that this is possible, more and more will find out that this is a very natural thing to do. Read my WF post "LOA Miracle on Warrior Forum" This is a clear demonstration of how the superconscious mind works! I find when I am using LOA, things work this way all the time. This is definitely not unusual in my personal experience. I am not the only one. I know lots of people who live their lives this way!

In fact this is how I came up with my username for WF IntuitiveMonkey! Brian Tracy describes these flashes from the superconscious as bolts of lightning. I felt them more as a light monkey jumping in here and there and everywhere and bringing light wherever it goes. I felt this in my life for several months, so I chose this name for WF! It's kind of funny. But it's true! I believe we do have the lamp and the genie if we only allow it! Everyone does! It might take some a while to get there, only because so many people are ingrained in their old thinking habits. The old thinking habits may take a few years or several years to dissipate and make way for the new habits of working with energy. That's ok. Let them take the time. If you keep working with it, I promise you your life is going to become almost miraculous and flowing!
