Is the world really this #@$ Up?

As a parallel follow up on my previous post http://www.warriorforum.com/mind-war...rge-abyss.html, I recieved a PM from a very doubious user who stated the following:

This immediately struck me as odd, so i checked it out. and what i found squeezed all of the last bit of faith in humanity i had left:

This blog was created overnight specifically to appeal to me, where it promotes over and over again this "My Advertisement Pays" site (That has been uncovered as a scam: http://www.warriorforum.com/internet...ys-review.html

Considering the nature of my original post, this genuinely infuriated me, so i responded back, in case you wondered:

As human being, how does one cope with the fact that others will take any advantage over you for their own benefit regardless of your situation? Many might take the stone cold route and throw it in the back burner, but doesn't it rock your cradle a little? How do you particularly gather the strength and willpower to persevere in the age of the technology and total absence of morality?

There are alot of bad people in the world. But, I believe the good outweighs the bad. The problem is that bad things stick in our mind and seem to be noticed more than the good. This is especially true in the media, good news is no news to most news shows unfortunately. As for people like that. I like to think that karma will catch up with them eventually. Just keep your head held high and don't let the actions of people like this impact your judgement of everyone else.

I agree, there is always going be bad situations or bad people that are unethical about anything.

I think taking one instance and then generalizing that the whole World is like that is a "mistake." In my experience, most people are good.

Similar to LOA, if you think that the World is messed up, you will see "evidence" that confirms that belief. (Whether it's true or not.) The same holds true if you think most people are good. (And they are, in my experience.)

The World is what you make of it.

@acompres, I went through all the links in your post. I had heard of MAPS before as a recommended program from two multi-millionaire friends who run an IM mastermind group. I hold these guys in high esteem. They are very good people who in my experience don't steer people wrong. That is why they have many loyal followers. And lot of folks in the group are making money by following them.

I am not a member of MAPS. And I have not spoken to my multi-millionaire friends about it regarding how the program is going for them. However, I feel this guy who sent you the info may not have a bad intent. After reading the thread on MAPS, I have mixed feelings about it. I would most probably not join it. However it doesn't mean the guy has a bad intent. He may actually be making money with it. Just my 2 cents.

i think you're viewing the world with so much negativity. and thinking that its triggered now by this single instance is not really good. try seeing the world in a more positive manner and you will attract positivity.

Well, on a positive note I'm glad you were able to see through the b.s. and hopefully the fact that you caught on to his crap will persuade him to shift into a more ethical way of doing things.

There's so much evil in the world it is sometimes depressing. So many dirty politicians, so much killing, everyone is so manipulative. So many people I know try to hide from reality by distracting themselves with other things. They don't want to deal with real problems because it's too much work.

There's so much potential for a better world but no one sees how they can go about doing it. No one is really free! We think we are but we aren't!

Where would we all be if we got that upset over spam? Shake your head, feel sorry for the fool, delete it and move on. Focusing on it in a brand new thread in the mindset forum (where we're all trying to boost and accentuate the positives in life isn't going to help you hate the world any less. Let it go, do something positive and selfless for someone else. Prove to yourself you're one of the good humans and forget the spammers, scammers and nincompoops.

    You're better than this.

You're always going to meet some scam artists and crooks online and in real life. The trick is to spot them early before they have time to scam you. Just avoid those people and don't think twice or waste emotional energy getting worked up over their nerve. Surround yourself with positive people who do good things and you will become more like them.
