Follow This THREE Step-System TONIGHT and Wake Up With $6895.97 GUARANTEED

I know, I know, I've just revealed the super formula on a public forum without adding a $999.97 price tag, someone's going to be pissed

On a more serious note, when I first started to market things online, I was a lot more unorganized. I would try to follow "trends" and try to follow what all the other marketers were saying is "hot" and "in"

In 2009 I've become much smarter. Marketing is very simple, it's a 3 step system that if you follow to a tee, you will make a G. (Okay, I'm trying to hard - I guess it's late :p )

"INTRODUCING THE 3-STEP MARKETING BLUEPRINT THAT WILL FLOOD YOUR MERCHANT ACCOUNTS WITH ENDLESS AMOUNT OF INCOME FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE... or your money back"

STEP 1: FOCUS: Many beginners fail before they even begin. Why? Because they lack focus. They lack the pin-point accuracy of creating an ACTION PLAN. Focus is about writing down on a piece of paper (if you can find a pencil or a pen, I don't know if they produce them anymore) the thing you want to create, and how you are going to create it. Without Focus, you can never take action, and if you can't even begin to take action, then you will never be consistent. Step 1 in this marketing blue-print is good ol' focus. If that means taking out your magnifying glass then by all means go and do that. FORGET all the latest and greatest marketing trends and software, in fact, one of the most liberating things that I've done online was unsubscribe myself from ALL marketers list. Now that I've actually gotten someone in my marketing career, I slowly re-subscribed back to the marketers that I could trust, but focus is about dropping everything else EXCEPT what you are trying to complete.

Oh yeah, and I hate to say it but the WSO forum is a great place to lose focus. Unless the product you are buying will AID you in completing your goals faster - then save your time & money for when you actually have time and money. Buying WSOs won't make you any richer, despite the claims of waking up with pamela anderson on your bed-side.

STEP 2: ACTION: You can write down your goals for years, but if you don't take action, you won't get anywhere. What I like to do is create a Daily Action Plan, it's steps that I have to take on a daily basis to get me where I want to go. So for example, if your goal by the end of the month is to finish your Product on trout fishing, then you need to divide your work into weeks, and if you really want to be productive, into days.

EXAMPLE:
WEEK 1: Product Design
Mon: Contact Joe The Graphic Designer and inquire about the status of my minisite. Begin working on JV partners. Continue to write 5 articles a day.
Tue: Install Blog on domain name to serve as a pre-launch. Talk to James about salesletter
Wed: Review the eBook from Ghost Writer. Send back comments and insights for a revision.

You get the point. FOCUS gives you the motivation but it's only when you act on the motivation (when you take ACTION) is when the magic happens. What I want you to do now is write a day by day action plan that you can follow for the next 14 days that will help get you from point A to point B (lets hope point B is a little bit richer)

STEP 3: CONSISTENCY I learned about consistency when I started to weight train. You are never going to improve your results unless you take day by day action, over a long period of time. Your body doesn't get that pot-beer belly in one night, so you can't remove it in one night either. The principal of consistency is making sure that you stay FOCUSED and continue taking ACTION day in and day out until you reach the GOALS that you have set for yourself. If you are focused and have action, yeah you'll eventually get your project done, but it may take 6 months instead of your projected 3 weeks. Consistency is the icing on the cake. It's the final componenet in the synergestic marketing formula that I've came up with.

When you follow my marketing plan Focus + Action + Consistency you'll truly see synergy in process.

1+1+1 = $6895.97 when you follow this plan.

It has to, or I have to give you your money back

Lots of missing details, but nice job nonetheless.

One thing I don't get is how everybody in this forum thinks they need to sell eBooks. I mean, that is the cheesy way to do it (and it works) but don't be so short-sighted. To get good, you need to have some sort of system in place to do the heavy lifting and really make it work. JV's, perpetual launch sequences, continuity components, etc...

When it all comes down to it: A lead source (or multiple) and a conversion strategy. That's really all there is to it.

Dude it's late - cut me some slack. Writing this post wasn't exactly in my agenda (or using my formula's terminology ACTION PLAN) for tonight, but I'm feeling nice

Regardless, I PROMISE you that if you follow the 3 steps in my system, there is no way you CAN'T make $6895.97. It's simple, but not easy. People mistake the two ALL the time.

Just because someone follows some extremely loose "action plan" guideline does NOT mean they will wake up anytime soon or anytime at all with the $6k+ you came up with or even $1k.

Good thing you're offering a money back guarantee because lots of people will end up taking you up on this

This is a good start, but you left out the most important aspect of it all. Eyeballs unless you can get lots and lota of eyeballs on your site, blog you are left with nothing but a waist of time.

      Hi Craig,

The misleading title and parts of this post, EG -

Marketing is very simple, it's a 3 step system that if you follow to a tee, you will make a G
...make me want to refer you to this thread - read the OP. Here are some snippets -

      From the OP -

I hate how a lot of marketers try to sell the idea to future customers of how they can be lazy & rich.

"Earn $2000/week working only 2 hours a day"

"Set & Forget Autopilot System Will Have You Earning 5-Figure Incomes Monthly"

"Step-By-Step System Takes All The Guess-Work and Leaves You With A Fat Bank Balance"
Internet Marketing is hard work. Not in the physical sense (even though I'm sure typing all day burns a lot of calories :p) but in the sense that you have to research, write, and market. People need to destroy their idea of get-rich-quick, or make money without working hard.
      From further down -

I quit buying internet marketing products about a year ago. Not because the information is re-hased. Not because it's over-priced, and not even because you can find it for free if your willing to educate yourself, but simply because they like to sell to people the idea of easy income, when that's certainly not the case.
Although it's worth pointing out that people are allowed to change their minds about things. It's just that it's better when they start out with unrealistic ideas and then get realistic.

It's not so good when they start out realistic, but then get all unrealistic while contradicting their old, previously realistic self. That's the internet marketing disease...

There seems to be a lot of threads similar to this one popping up in the Main Discussion area. I have no objection to them, but I'd rather see them posted in the self-improvement forum given that they tend to use buzzwords like "focus", "discipline", "planning" and so on. Keep Main Discussion limited to truly actionable material.

No disrespect to what you had to say, Craig. You spoke some sense in your post.

I work on it every day, but if i write more than 3 articles in a row i lose focus.

How do you deal with that?
My Mom taught me a valuable lesson on this topic: never work for more than 30 mins at a stretch. Make yourself take a short break (5-10 mins) and do something completely unrelated to work. I usually wander over to one of my dogs and do some serious belly rubbing, then maybe I'll check the mail or call a friend. Doesn't matter what, as long as it's basically a mindless task and has nothing to do with whatever project you were working on.

It sounds so simple, but it works like gangbusters. Clears those mental cobwebs. Resets your gears and pulleys. When you sit back down, you'll be ready to plow in again for another 30-min burst. You won't believe how much more productive you'll be over the span of an entire day.

      Diggyd,

For me personally I set "slots" in my day of 2 hours. Never more than three and never less than one. I then write a list of what MUST be done today to move forward tomorrow and I make sure I stick within the time limits. It really helps my focus and productivity.

      indexphp,

I agree with what you are saying, but I think selling an ebook online is an excellent way to learn about what it takes to run an online business. But it has to be approached as a business and I believe that you have got to try and generate a system or sales funnel from it.

      Craig.Michaels,

What you have created is NOT a marketing blueprint. Thats a blueprint for action and is your approach to your business which you have found to be successful for you. That is not marketing.

      1. Product
      2. Price
      3. Place
      4. Promotion

The above is known as the "marketing mix" and is only just the start of marketing and one of the most basic concepts in marketing. Focus, Action and Consistency do not feature there. I do agree however that the three steps you mention are critical to gaining momentum and advancing your business.

I think this is generally speaking good information masquerading as something it is not.

Wow, it's good to see a bunch of replies.

Just wanted to remind everyone that I made this post with a tint of humor. Of course I don't expect you to make $6895.97 if you follow this advice (you should be able to make 3x that ).

My main point of this thread was that once you have an idea of where you want to go, you have to stick to it.

Focus + Action + Consistency will yield positive results, you just fill in the blanks of each section.

My main grip is that Internet Marketing is simple, people over-complicate it. Depending on your "business" model, for almost every site/product you produce, the logic is the same.

    1) Get an idea and write down your plans (Focus)
    2) Build Site and gather traffic (Action)
    3) Rinse and repeat over a period of time (Consistency)

So, I made this post in the middle of the night, 1/2 of it with truth, 1/2 of it filled with humor. What I did WANT the readers to get away with is that procrastination and dis-order will fail you from making money, not taking action (even if you do it wrong, it can always be tweaked in the process) is the worse thing you can do.

I believe you've actually done the greater community here a disservice by posting this.

Do these steps TONIGHT and you'll wake up with $6k in the morning???

That's a flat out lie. Look at step 3 "Consistency" how can you do "consistency" in one night?

The problem is that there are people reading your headline who don't yet know that taking some action tonight and waking up with $6k the next morning DOESN'T happen. No business that you have to start from scratch does.

You're feeding the myth that online marketing works that way. There are already far too many people who believe that, and it perpetuates the cycle of people having to buy hundreds of products and waste thousands of dollars before they figure out that that's not how it works, after which they can start to approach it seriously and in doing so, might make some real money with an online biz.

The content of your advice isn't even bad, but coating it in a headline like that, and with that kind of promise is to the detriment of us all.

Craig - I *get* your tone and post.

Here's a related tip that might be helpful to some when it comes to focus:

One of the tools that I use is a sheet of paper on a daily basis and I write down what I do, and during what time frame:

      AM
      8:00 task 1 started
      9:00 task 1 completed
      10:00
      etc.

that's a bit of an oversimplification for example purposes, but you get the idea.

The point here is that this keeps me - and could keep you - from j*rking off all day when you look back at your day and how you spent your time and see "read newsletter, read email, read posts on the warrior forum" and did very little to move your business forward.

Sure, reading those things *could* be valuable, but if you really should be building or adding to a site, finalizing a product, etc. you at least do have the hard data in front of you....

...instead of "how was your day/week?" answer: "uh... i dunno, but I SEEMED busy...."

This can help to keep you accountable and keep focus... you might also want to see a thread I started with how I define focus.

So while some activities that are not directly productive can still be good activities, I simply look to see how much of my time was spent on PROFITABLE OR POTENTIALLY PROFITABLE tasks.

      Hope that helps someone...
      Best,
      David

Unfortunately this just isn't true. It's perfectly possible for someone to focus on something that doesn't work, take consistent action and end up in debt. Just ask anyone who's dabbled in PPC.

Your simplistic approach misses out so much detail it's very misleading.

      Where is your market research?

Way too many people start with an idea and then look for a market to which to sell it. The ideal start point is to locate a hungry market.

      Whoa Whoa Whoa hey,

Okay, I don't know if I made myself clear by now, the "Wake Up With $6895.97 GUARANTEED" part is satire. I was mocking "Marketers" in a way with my post but adding my own insights.

I guess I have to work on my copy-writing skills?

Like I've mentioned before, the tone of this post was meant to be sarcastic/humorous/almost ironic in the way of it mocking "marketers"

That still does not discredit the fact that you NEED to have a game plan. Yes, the title was over-hyped, just like almost all marketing material, that was kind of my point in making it like that. I think a lot of people missed the humor (that I failed to inject I guess) in my post. That's okay though, I'm learning for the future

          1) A bunch of smiley faces.
          2) My sentence is "I know, I know, I've just revealed the super formula on a public forum without adding a $999.97 price tag, someone's going to be pissed"
          3) This little line over here "Buying WSOs won't make you any richer, despite the claims of waking up with pamela anderson on your bed-side. "
          4) The last line "It has to, or I have to give you your money back" how can I give you your money back for something you didn't have to pay for? hahahah it's funny laugh

The post was (is) suppose to be informative. Stop reading, stop procrastinating, focus on your business and take action. The simple fact that I said wake up with $6895.97 GUARANTEED should have clued you in on the humorous/ironic tone I was going for, especially since my first line said "I know, I know, I've just revealed the super formula on a public forum without adding a $999.97 price tag, someone's going to be pissed"

I am afraid if there is such a huge gap between your intention (humor) and the reception (misleading "methods" or lie) - then, yes, you will have to work on your humor-writing skills

If you have to explain repeatedly that a joke is a joke... most likely that's a bad joke.

I guess it's because we see so much of that in threads where the OP is serious that we are fed up of it.

WF has gone downhill a bit, I find it's the same newbie questions these days and threads more specific which actually take a little more thought and experience and left unanswered.

    It's a vicious circle.
