To buy Mobile source code for a marketplace app?

Hello,

I recently found a seller who built an app (iOS) market place for buying and selling stuff. I am based in India and I think there is a growing market here for a particular niche that I would like to target.

Can anyone recommend a good source or a good guide where I can learn more about app business, how it runs, marketing and stuff.

He is selling the source codes and says the app is ready to upload to the appstore. This is via a reputable site so it is safe. I asked him several questions (like porting over to the android platform) and he seems to be supportive answering them in great detail. But then I realize that what I need is more like a course or guide.

He said the app is built in Parse.com as the backend. I asked if I can use the source code to build several different apps or only modify this one as I see fit. He said he will make an exception for me. I should sign a legal contract with this clause right? Any idea on what to include in the contract.

What are the things I should consider and take care of before starting with this? Any guide or tutorial that could teach me the ins and outs.

Agreements and legal stuff. I read somewhere about cloud based apps and did not knew exactly what it meant. Apps are uploaded on the appstore so why cloud? This makes me feel like there is a lot more to this and I like to be thorough in my research.

I am really excited about this project but worried I might make mistakes and take a wrong turn in my over excitement :)
