Hi an app with over 500.000 users what can it be sold for?

Always, when you want to sell a website or an app or any type of business, calculate how much it gaves you per year then multiply it by 12 or 10 and sold it for that price.
It is a rule that many seller on flippa or other are doing.

so you are telling me that my app revenue x 10 so if my app made $50.000 this year i can sell it for 500.000?

A real invester does never invest more than what the product has earned in revenue.. so 10x is just crazy talk

That is certainly applied to website, I am in mobile marketing too, but I am not so into flipping apps.
But basicly it's the same thing, if you have a business and that business is making you money don't try to sell it, I did it once and I really regret it.

It's not the same when it comes to mobile apps due to their volatility. I've marketed many and those 500,000 downloads can stop just as quickly as it game. You're first 500,000 is the valuable traffic, you've taken the money from that and there is no guarantee it will even get another 500,000, you need to show that the growth of your app is continuous. I would sell it for 3x the amount earned but a smart buyer would want to check your download data and be sure they will make a return.
