Does anyone have any recommendations on getting app store downloads or reviews for an iphone game I am releasing soon.

look for PPI mobile networks. Buy cheap incentive installs, if your game is good enough, you'll receive organic installs and reviews soon

You will need to do a couple of things.

1. Do good app store research to see what your target audience likes
2. Make sure you put keywords with the name of your app.
3. It will help if you put together either a Facebook Page/Webpage or even better both to promote your app. There is a lot of traffic on Twitter as well.
4. You can get an app review done on Fiverr.com and post it on Youtube, Vimeo, and DailyMotion for starters.
5 Submit Your App to App Review sites. Do a Google search as they are some that are free and some that you need to pay for.
6. Once you have all that is listed above. Then I would look to using promotional networks

This is close to what I do for our clients and our own apps.

Before you even spend money on advertising, make sure you're monetizing the app. Try PR, spread the word around social media, and definitely create a nice landing page/website for your app.

Try some Mobile CPA networks working on CPI business models, you only pay for installs so there will be no risk.

You can offer your app for free or at half price for a period of time. Couple that with the beforementioned CPI campaign and a medium-sized user base already in place, and the effects can be mind-blowing. There are also apps which can help promote your discounted app, similar to the way daily deal sites work.

Make a video playing your game. Upload to youtube and make a free version, if it's good enough you will be getting downloads fast.
