Best software development program???
 

So here's the deal...I need recommendations for a good (preferably easy to use) cross-platform development software program to use to create my app. I know I could just Google it but I want to hear the good and the bad from personal experiences if possible.

I think every software language has its own importances. But i can understand it is very difficult to select any one language. As per my knowledge i can share some differences in each language. Java is a full object oriented language with having features such as networking and cross platform compatibility. Now a days Android applications are also written in java. Thers a lots of java jobs but competition is high and pay is low. C++ is an advance version of C adding object oriented feature.As compared to java there is less competition but c++ programmers are always in demand in software industry especially in gaming industry.

Thank you for your reply. I'm actually looking for a company/software to use for android programming to create my app though, not the programming language used. I'm looking for a company that preferably is easy to use for someone that isn't a expert programmer.

I've recently heard of Ionic but don't want to choose based off what I've regarding one program. Would you happen to know any that do similar functions to Ionic or even competitors?

Hi, I am also just starting out as a mobile app developer and as a newbie I find Appery.io so easy to use. You can use it to create app for iOS, Window Phone and Android. The builder runs in cloud so you can start at once no need to install or download. You can try their free plan but would have to pay if you want their premium plan. In Xamarin you can create iOS and Android also and is great for cross platform mobiles apps.

depend on Ur ability u are easily work php .net ruby on rail java but every tool is best if u work easily on that environment android developer use android studio sdk

If you're looking to create a custom app I'd recommend looking at HTML5 frameworks, like Sencha or Jquery Mobile. That or Phone Gap isn't too bad.

I think you must learn Java programming for platform independent for your mobile app because it is interesting and easy to learn as per my experiences and try to develop small app first which not make you confuse if you are beginner and once you trained then explore your developing skill.
