Best way to incorporate appointment booking into an app.

I'm building an app for a local hairdresser.
I'm using a template with a "Book appointments" page.
Unfortunately, this is just an image, and doesn't do anything.

If I was in Wordpress, I could just install the relevant plugin, but I have never heard of plugins for apps.

Any suggestions?

Peter, this may sound too simple but can't you just link that page to an appointment bookings site. There are some free ones out there. It may take the user out of the app but it should work.

That's right, and I had thought of it, but didn't want to do it for the same reason you mention - it takes the user away from the app.

Having said that, if all else fails, that's what I'll do. It may also have the benefit of my building them a mobile site and selling them both as a job lot.
