To be fair, Instagram hasn’t opened up the doors to marketers and advertisers as much as Facebook yet. Just like every other social network, Instagram has been focused on building up its user base and making the experience as enjoyable for them as possible. But Facebook isn’t a replacement for Instagram and Instagram can’t replace Facebook. You have to identify your audience, think about the type of content you want to publish and then find a happy medium. In the end, the question isn’t which social network is better. The question you have to ask yourself is how can your company use each one to reach your audience and grow your social media presence. As for me, I'm using both but Instagram is more economical for me because I put more attention to Facebook. It works better for my niche. |

Dpends on the product or service you're offering. I prefer to build an audience as well on instagram and linking them to my product page or landing page. For FB ads, i dont venture on that one because its too expensive for me but i hear it does pretty good if youre willing to spend. I just manage my page on FB every day by Sharing and engaging on relevant communities and groups.
