I think the key is really understanding the user's/customer's process of searching, picking and eventually buying the product. You have to really know your customer. Nowadays, it being that there is so much variety of devices, the flow has changed: it's no longer about that initial connection that leads to a purchase. Clients do their research using many different channels and you kind of need to predict how they are going to go about their buying process. It's tough but, once you understand that Mobile is already a gigantic business and that India already has more than 85% of internet users accessing through mobile, you know that the journey is only beginning for mobile ads. |

I predict for small businesses, many jumping on the mobile marketing frenzy. They are going to learn all they can about it and how to utilize this tool to promote to local clients. I feel after conducting about a weeks worth of research on mobile markets that it can be the real "Killer," for email marketing.

I agree, it only makes sense that more organizations start going mobile with the marketing and communication strategy. At Trumpia we are seeing a great rate of adoption with SMS text messaging for large corporations to streamline internal communication with HR departments.

I signed up for a webinar the other day and I submitted my email together with my phone number. The website owner kept sending emails, as well as text message reminders about the webinar. That was quite a good approach for me cause I got reminders to watch the webinar even without checking my email. Haven't seen that used before. |
