I have a potential client who has an established printed magazine in a good profitable niche and also website where users can currently get access to the magazine in pdf colour format.
The subscription service has been set up and the site but she is not very happy with it all.

I have been approached to build an app for the magazine and submit it to the android and istores etc. I will outsource the build through a reliable designer or even use a template as its just as easy to upload the magazine pdf each month to the stores and get a qr code generated.

The apple/android stores have subscription services for magazines so there is no need for extensive coding etc. The PDF will be created each month by her in house design team.

I am not sure how much to charge for the App build and monthly maintenance, up keep etc?

I am uk based and the hard copy of the magazine is currently being considered for circulation by a large corporate uk news agency in their high street shops.
This is a lucrative deal for me if they get the circulation deal. I just want to get the pricing right.

I have advertised in the magazine previously for another of my offline businesses and i also have an e-commerce business launching soon which would also fit the niche quite well.

This client has also asked me to price her for a complete overhaul of her site onto wordpress which i can do without a problem.

I was considering either making the app and completing the website creation and also keeping it maintained etc in exchange for free advertising space for my e-commerce store and offline business or charging for the app creation etc but dont really know how much to charge.

Any ideas on price would be welcome?

If it is more beneficial for me to do a deal on advertising my businesses in the magazine in exchange for sorting out the app then i will do that, just dont really know how much to charge for the app build and monthly 'servicing'.
Pricing the web build and monthly servicing is no problem as i will use the same pricing as local agencies.

This is the start of my offline client servicing business and i've just landed another client for a web site re-build so i will have two clients in a position to bring me repeated business and other customers to start off. My site is still under construction lol and i will complete this over the weekend but due to having a great network of contacts these clients came to me through word of mouth between friends and contacts.
