In-app sale tracking Method

Hi guys,

I'm trying to figure out the best model for working on in-app sale model with a client.

On web - so far there has been primarily last click model with 30 day cookie duration as a standard.
However, in Mobile - what would be the best thing from a publisher perspective?

Also, a standard question - if the user installs the app via my source and purchases something - great, i'll get a commission.

What if this user (for whatever reason) uninstalls the app then installs back (via whatever source) after few days.
In this case - neither the new source nor I will get the commission.
The source for 2nd install would inturn be "organic" and the client would see it as its own sales - which doesnt seem right.

Is there a solution to this problem?
