Why I have an App
Share on:

I have been producing and selling digital products online now since 2010 and I thought I was on top of marketing trends.

A few weeks ago my son wanted to look something up on Amazon so he took a lone of my phone. When I got the phone back he had installed the Amazon app. WTF I thought, why didn't he use the browser' and then it occurred to me that the next generation is the app generation, not a desktop generation.

So now I have an app (which is free) - Learn Excel Fast - which contains a full free course(video based with a workbook to download and activities to complete) As a further funnel I have a link to my online community and my FB page. Giving me amply opportunity to build trust and create relationships with highly engaged leads.

On top of the funnels I have set up I have push notification, which apparently have better open rates than emails lists

Feel free to have a look at the app and see how I have used it for marketing. Free content, and links to build stronger relationships....You might also find the course useful.

If you like the app, I hope you will consider sharing it and learning some feedback.....

You can access the app here

Hi Paula,

I think you may still be behind the trends.

Native apps are so 2015...

Get with the latest trend: PWA (Progressive Web Apps) with AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages).

Many businesses with native apps are now trying to figure out how to move back to the web with the latest tech AMP & PWA, or as some are calling it "PWAMP"

It's time to "make the web great again".

One of the great features of progressive web apps is they are cross-platform. They work everywhere. In the case of iOS, which is about 3 years behind the tech trends these days, they work great.
The progressive means the web app gets progressively better as the client platform (browser) gets better by supporting newer APIs, etc.
The primary concept of a progressive web app that is often overlooked it is not about code and more about delivering the best UX possible.
