My Niece Ask Me How To Profit With Her Smartphone - Here's My Answer!

Hi warriors! Especially newbies!

So sometime ago my niece (16 years old) came to me asking on how I made money online. After couple talks I forwarded her to use her smartphone with a simple idea. And now she's very happy that she can make some cash with it. Not much, but it's enough for her to buy some stuff for her school project and buy some meals at nearest KFC or Mc'D.

What did I teach her?

Well... Since she got no ID yet, so it means she has no bank account and everything to accept money from online world.. and much more things that just simply hold her to achieve her goal... then... I just told her to use her smartphone.

She has hundreds of friends in her LINE and WHATSAPP account. Most her friends are just like her... love to trade some cute pictures and stickers in their phone application. They spent a lot on it.

What I was interested about their behavior in their smartphone community was an idea where they wanted to cut the spending on those stickers. So they decide to create their own images and exchange it in their daily communication.

Here's come my advice to my niece. I told her to sell her drawings to them. I told her to put or store her files on some free cloud storage services. And gave each access with some passwords and decryption keys. I told her to ask the payment first from her friends... and then share the download links to paid friends only.

Short story... she already made some sales by selling her own drawing to some friends for picture communication in their LINE and WHATSAPP group chats. She's already expanding now to another friends in another school as well.

I'm happy I can help her this way.

I'm just sharing this experience to you... all newbies!
I want to give you a motivation.
Yes... you can make money using any free online stuff... and start it to make the profit from your surroundings or offline market.
You can start it right away and learn to enhance your way step by step...
Just do your action, even if it's only a little profit can be made...
Don't worry... it will start to grow along the way you give more focus on what you do.

I learn something new every 4 out of 7 times i visit this forum. And this is a classic example of one of them. Thanks for the list of cloud hosts (Google Drive is the only one i was familiar with), but the options out there are endless. I wonder what's next up in line for these people lol. Great selling story though, and make sure you coach her to the point (or beyond) where she can go to Yale if she wants.

Or.... when that time comes, i guess coaching her to 6-figures/month isn't a bad idea also.

Actually I'm running out of ideas to give to her.
She loves to draw that Japanese cartoon and her friends like it so much.
I think she just wants to show off a little bit to her father.
And right now is not a good time for her to do any online business due to her age.
By the way is not my responsibility though.. as she has parents who want her to be a medical doctor someday.

PS:
And it's a good way for me to learn (practice) how to coach.

You should rethink this.

When kids are young, eager to learn, anxious to define themselves, and open to new ideas . . . that's the perfect time to introduce them to online business.

They can always have a parent or relative set up accounts and do the financial transactions for them.

Your could set up a simple WordPress web site for her and she could learn to do blogging, artwork, and selling online which skills would be invaluable for a young person to have. There are lots of examples of children doing thriving businesses online right now.

Great advise to your niece. There is so much opportunity online these days. Really no need to go to college if you don't want to. Follow your passion and find a way to create opportunities online.

If she's doing it among her friends at the same school, they might be using an antiquated method called "cash."

I remember my early days online, when I sold "digital" products that were delivered only after receiving cash, a money order or a check that cleared.

Thanks, John... That's just very true. She got paid by cash and by phone-balance. It's very common in my country among students to share and send their phone-balance to each other. Later on they can also exchange their phone balance to buy something at nearest mini-market.

I agree. And i'm sure her parents would understand too lol. Plus with the simplicity of starting and running an online business... she could maybe "do business" about 3-4 hours a week.

This isn't exactly what you're looking for but I think
it could work and her customers wouldn't have to pay
anything.

She would upload the files to this site then promote the link.

The buyers would go to the site, complete a short survey then
download the file. For each survey completed and file downloaded
she would be paid about one dollar U.S.

The only problem will be the language and not of those students like to browse online. Their main communication is either using LINE or WHATSAPP in their mobile phone.
So it's online but not like we usually do here with websites.
