|  APP naming. How the same named app with low rating and just little installs can affect ASO?

Hi! We have an app and trying to figure out the name for it. We like name NAME1, but it's already available on the AppStore. Those 3 apps are not competitors and have a low rating and little installs. They look like like some shitty abandoned apps. Our ASO agency says that the same or similar naming won't affect our ASO, as App's name isn't just one feature counts to ASO. What do you think? What's your experience? Thanks! |

You can name your app NAME1. Maybe the related apps have your app name1 in their description in whats new section, that is why they are ranking for ur keyword. Over a period of time, your app will move up and they will go down once they get few negative reviews and less downloads. |
