For example, I have promised a client 100 app installs, how can I track if the installs are coming from my side - Is there an app to monitor these?

Hi Gina,
Perfect timing ! Yesterday I have posted this : https://www.warriorforum.com/mobile-...utm_term=title

Maybe, I will create an app to monitor these. It will depend of the feedbacks that I have :)

For Android
Install tracking is automatically enabled in Analytics for Android apps. You don’t have to do anything!

For iOS
Follow these steps to enable install tracking in your Analytics account:
Step 1: Enable app install tracking in your account.
Step 2: Update your Analytics SDK.
Step 3: Set up Custom Campaigns. Custom Campaigns are an Analytics feature that add parameters to the URL of your marketplace page where users download your app.

Well what are ways you are using to promote the app. If you are using PPC then a response code is generated which tracks the activities on your app. Facebook to has the same process and you can monitor the whole activities in Analytics.

Include the Transaction ID as a Parameter, Request the Value of the Referral, Post the Transaction ID to HasOffers, These are the 3 best methods for tracking your app installs. Through these methods you can easily track all your android app installs.

Yes you can place a Google Analytics tracking code which help you in tracking the installs. You can use other non-officio tools like one spy, mobile phone tracker etc

Android developers need to change a few lines in their manifest file.

To use Analytics app install tracking, your app will have to access the iOS identifier for advertising (IDFA). You need to add the libAdIdAccess code in library to your XCode project to do this.

Depending on the operation system your app developed on you have the next options to track the app installs:

iOS apps:
via iTunes Conect

Android apps:
via Google Dev Console

Also if you have ordered the marketing campaign of app installs - the supplier should deliver the report from their source of tracking which is more transparent and clear as the installs bench not always reflect the installs in the accurate number they were implemented by users.

Keenmobi (Skype: "keenmobi") is the company which boost the installs volume and deliver the detailed report for the apps owners.
