Both these forms of marketing provide business owners with the opportunity for affordable mass communication and enable them to send out timely information as well as exclusive offers. They seem pretty similar, don't they? But actually there are a lot of differences. So how do you know which one is best for you and your business?

E-mail marketing has been around for a long time, whilst text marketing is relatively new. However, in most cases, email marketing not only takes far more work but also receives far less engagement and response than SMS marketing.

When it comes to email marketing, the more messages the better. Research shows that this type of marketing receives better response when sending out up to 30 campaigns a month. Whereas when it comes to sending text messages less is more - with success coming from just 4-6 a month.

SMS is one of the most immediate channels available, with a read rate of 97% within 15 minutes of delivery. SMS is much more personal and receiving one from a brand feels similar to receiving one from a friend or family member. However, this is also the reason that you do not want to bombard the customer with message after message.

I would even say 98% of all SMS are opened versus 22% of emails and 100% read! + Pull SMS Marketing campaigns can be automated, personalized and analyzed
So, Business Marketing SMS Auto Reply could be even a better option for SMS Marketing than Push systems

It depends on your audience. If you want to target teenagers in their 20s then go for mobile marketing. You will be more effective to target businesses by email marketing but make sure you work out the spam rank to reduce it.

Ofcourse yes i also agree with the answer. When compared mobile marketing with email marketing, i always prefer mobile marketing. Because email marketing will not have a great response while mobile marketing has.

In my point of view, Mobile Marketing is best because of high response rate and ease of availability at mobile phones.

Email marketing gives you an asset you can build for years. You can then use it over and over again for free to email your subscribers. If you're not finding a way to target people again, then you're wasting your time and money.

According to me mobile marketing is the best source. Email marketing is also the best source but it is not as much effective as mobile marketing.

Mobile Marketing Vs Email marketing, is one of the most debated marketing techniques topic. In my opinion, nowadays though, it's unfair for a brand to communicate with their customers just through one single channel, which converts the whole SMS vs Email irrelevant.

No doubt email usage is still higher than SMS, but maybe you are delivering a large amount of emails but make sure that these emails are getting opened as your work out for emails have high probability to result as spam. Smart phones have provided marketing companies the power to reach people on both the channels in directly their pocket.

Both. It's necessary to provide mobile marketing cause it's the most popular, but don't forget about email marketing. You can find information that 1$ spending on email marketing gives back 44$. I provide both of them, and I have to say that email marketing is still alive. You can use different email marketing tools, I can advise you snovio.

In my opinion, mobile marketing is the best option because it provides to potential or existing customers personalized and time- and location-based information about your business.

Email marketing is not conversational, thus making it not as effective as some conversational text messaging marketing solutions. There are products that do this for brands, Chatitive is one that comes to mind.

Everything depends on the nature of your business and your needs.
Of course, it is always better to combine several methods at a time to get the maximum profit.
However, you should also remember that mobile marketing and text messaging in general have greater response rates comparing to email marketing.

Both the mediums have their own ins and outs. If you are looking to engage your audience on the go, if a small message can seize their attention then maybe mobile marketing. Email, on the other hand, is a more mature form of direct communication, largely accepted by the global audience. There is a room for automation, design and much more. So email marketing is better scope rich, while mobile marketing can prove a quick engagement strategy.
