Ok. I got a couple of appointments next week and I'm working on my pricing structure for mobile websites. There's so many different ways I'm not sure what's best to choose. 1. It would be nice to have an income coming in each month so I could charge something like $24/mo for hosting. Maybe a small $49.00 website creation charge then $24/mo to host it. Heck, I could even say Free mobile website with 1 year of pre-paid hosting. In either case, I could host their mobile site on my server and shut it off if they don't pay. 2. Single charge with no hosting. What's a good price for a full mobile website if you won't be charging for hosting? They don't take that long to create so would $149 sound about right? 3. Pay per page. Charge a certain dollar amount for each page on their mobile website. Maybe $25 per page so the price would depend completely on how many pages they desire. Maybe offer a 50% discount on creating the site if they pay for monthly hosting. 4. Then there's another price you can charge if you package a full website with a mobile website. See, there are so many different variables and ways to charge, I'd love to find out what's standard or makes more sense to business owners and run with it. Thanks. Mike |

When I was selling mobile websites, I sold them for a one-time fee ranging between $149 - $199. These are the prices I tried but I guess I could sell for higher as well. It is up to you to test and see which price range is optimal for you and your clients. If they already have hosting that can host the mobile site as well, charging them for hosting doesn't seem ethical to me, I didn't do that and I don't recommend it. But you can charge them for weekly/monthly updates etc. if you want to establish a long term relationship. Per-page pricing also makes sense as the requirements will change from client to client and $25 is a good figure. |

Personally I don't think there's a 'one price fits all' as it depends on more than one factor just be carefull not to under value your services. Neil B |

I`m thinking of putting banners in the bottom or adsense for mobile and charge them extra for removing the ads.. So for instance say $100 for site creation and whatever fee for hosting and maintenance and from $100 and up for removing the ads.. Is that a good idea or will they only find it annoying to have tp pay more..? |

Just my opinion, but I like pricing for a 3-5 page site between $200 - $300 upfront and am considering trying either just $30 - $40 monthly either with or without a smaller $100 or less setup charge (so I can afford to pay something reasonable to those who refer business to me) Cheers, Steve |

I just sold one for $299 with $5/mo hosting, but the next client was $399 with $10/mo hosting. If they balk, I offer $50/mo for the first year to spread out payments.

bit of a popular question this one - but we do ours for $250+ it seems to be the average... however anything that requires lots of customization or say integration with Joomla/Wordpress or similar have charged upwards of $2k hope that helps jay |

I like the single one time fee of $149 option. I just pay it once and forget about it for year....
