Anyone think this has legs?

I don't think it'll be released with the iPhone 5 but you can trust that it'll get a release eventually.. Apple paid $200 million for the company!

Joe, thanks for the early morning reading!
You asked, does it has legs? You bet it does.
Before the legs , here's comes the brain.
In the no distance future we'll be referring to our now computers, ' virtual assistant'.
These VA will be able to know who you are , what you do for a living, who's your family, friends, show you movie when you were kids, etc. We're just beginning.

Turns out Siri is a major part of the Apple event just now..

11:18AM - Scott’s asking Siri all kinds of stuff. Find me a great Greek restaurant in Palo Alto. “I’ve found five Greek restaurants, and I’ve sorted them by rating.” Scott: “I’ve been in the AI field a long time. This blows me away.”

Looks like Siri is integrated with Yelp for local recommendations.

11:17 a.m. You can ask Siri about stocks. Siri says “NASDAQ Composite is down right now.” Siri is also partnered with Yelp, so you can ask something like “Find me a great Greek restaurant in Palo Alto.” Siri responds “I’ve found 14 Greek restaurants, 5 of them are in Palo Alto. I’ve sorted them by rating.” The ranked listing follows below.

Siri must be smart...finding a great Greek restaurant in Palo Alto is not all that easy...

Quite a visionary piece from 20 yrs ago...
I wonder what they would produce today to show 20 yrs from now?
