"One Size Fits All" Video Format? Hi all, I haven't seen this question answered in the other threads, so here goes: Let's say we have a Website that was orginally built to be viewed on a desktop. On that Website is an .flv video from Youtube, that plays fine on an Android smartphone. Knowing that future users may be viewing that site using different mobile devices as well as desktop, should that video be 1. Converted to a different format in order to be accessible to the largest number of mobile as well as desktop users? (If so, what format?) 2. Removed? (Even though the Youtube link helps with SEO) Thanks! :) |
Re: "One Size Fits All" Video Format? I think there are some platforms that automatically re-sizes those videos to fit all smartphone OSs. I think you can find them with a little Googling. |
