Can anyone supply one (via me) for a local estate agent here in UK, theyve adopted QR codes but they link to their PC site which is OK ish on smartphones as the pages still show (though not great) but of course far from ideal . Of course they need to be able to add, edit etc the listings themselves , any offers/ suggestions either on this thread or via pm welcome. thankyou |

Have you sold this idea to them, or is it something you will be proposing? I'm not sure if they would really be wanting to have to input the same data for 1 house on two different systems. It would be a major job to try and link a mobile site up their current system, and probably something which would take expertise. On the other hand if they are happy with a fully separate system for mobile ready pages for their houses then you could develop a system and again charge top dollar. I'm sure you could use wordpress with some plug ins to create directories and have the estate agents be able to manage the system themselves. You'd need to be very savy in wordpress and customising the stylesheets to make the pages "shrink to fit", or there maybe plugins which will do this. Another option, one which I may look into myself is building a brand new system from scratch with my own PHP knowledge. I think, for me at least, that it would be easier for me to build the PHP system from scratch than stripping and rebuilding a wordpress theme and plugins. Again though, implementing a CMS system this way will take a lot of time, effort and ultimately would demand a large price tag. Lastly, you could just run their mobile site listings for them for a recurring income. This would again involve the estate agents to be messing about with house details to send over to you etc. Maybe messy, but could be a good residual and theoretically should not take long to update the templated pages. |

Oh also, where about's in the UK is this estate agent based? You don't have to reveal the exact town or county, just general area of the country. I haven't seen any QR codes on for sale signs around here and it is something I want to showcase to some local agents. If you gave the client the idea for QR codes, or have had contact about making their listings mobile friendly, how easy was it to get hold of the owner, or marketing person? It seems even just local agents have multiple offices in the local towns around here.

If the UK has codes like the MLS codes in the U.S. you can set up a system where the customer texts the property code to a phone number and is redirected to the property information on the mobile friendly web site while a message is sent to the agent letting her know that someone is checking out the property in real time.

I would suggest using a platform that has already been created for this exact purpose. Getting a solution created and coded yourself would take a fair amount of time and money. There is a company here in Australia that provides these mobile real estate websites and they look great. I believe they can also link them to the standard website so your mobile site is updated automatically. They are pretty affordable too for what they are: Agentpoint The Wordpress Real Estate Web Developers » Real Estate Mobile Phone Website You can see an example site if you go to: http://m.randw.com.au |

Hello, I use this solution for my Real Estate customers. It is a complete plug in, easily customizable. You can view a demo site here on your smartphone: http ://realestate.mviso.com Let me know if questions, Todd |

The problem with that site is it does not stretch or shrink to fit all the different mobile devices - not a great solution.

Does anyone know if there's anything like this for musicians - where songs, gig info, and merchandise propagates from the main sites to the mobile version? Ceri | |

Hi, In the warrior world I've primarily been a consumer of all tools that make the world go round. I'd like to chime in here regarding Mobile Marketing. The software I use is piJnz mobile page landing builder & mobile site mangement tool for agencies | Mobile CMS Solution for building your flock ... its a agency level SaaS mobile publishing platform ( landing pages or full site). With it you can set up and manage multiple mobile clients (either branded or white label versions) cool is it is drag and drop to build, can auto gen QR codes ( in web and print format), fully has video and any assets you would like to add and the tap to call, map or social hook ups as well as data collection for list management and by page or site stats. Mobile pages also display desktop friendly on its own but it also comes with a plug in, app builder or code to autodetect mobile that can push to mobile friendly page. The plugin for wp is pretty cool as it allows by page push to mobile if you want. Meaning a landing or squeeze page on site or say a sale, event or in your case a specific property can be specified to land on the mobile url ( independent domains) can add to your link weight too. In mobile even with QR code you want visitors to land on a mobile friendly page that does not involve having to scroll all over the place to see stuff... they tend to leave. Cost is very reasonable and if your a service provider you can manage them or you are also able to give your clients their own log ins and passwords for them to self manage their pages. ( because builder is simple drag and drop what you want components) So in your case a real estate office with multiple listings can launch multiple specific pages with QR build list interest, quit printing all those fliers that always seem to run out and display property info, etc. easily stored, shared etc. on their mobile at point of interest,,, and instant call the realtor or req. a appointment quick and easy Also by having a centralized management dash board for multiple independent pages will save you a ton of time |
