Preferred solution for redirect on WP site

Hello Warriors,

One of my client's has a website built using Wordpress and I have created a mobile landing page.

However, I need advice on best way to set up re-direct on his site for mobile traffic.

Is there a plug-in for Wordpress that I can suggest which will help with re-direct?

Would appreciate your help and advice on it.

Thanks.

Thank you.

I have installed the plug-in into my client's website and set it up to re-direct to the mobile landing page.

However, when I type the website URL onto a mobile device, it shows the website as opposed to mobile landing page.

Any ideas?

Did you go into the "settings" page and put the redirect into all the phones listed? Is the phone you're using in that list? If not, you'll may have to add your phone model under "Add Device". Other than that, not sure what is wrong.

Is the phone you are using to test the redirect an Android?

Depending on how the mobile redirect plugin works you will find some that use javascript screen size detection don't always redirect if the phone is using certain Android devices - for some reason javascript will detect the screen resolution as being much larger than it actually is and will often not trigger the redirect depending on how it is configured.

There is a thread that WillR started about screensize detection here on WF - if you can find it you will see what i am talking about. Lots of people posted their mobile screensize using a screensize detection script - and the variations from the actual devices screen size was a bit of an eye opener!

If the plugin uses an up to date User Agent library the latter issue will not be a problem.
