This is THE "why do businesses need a mobile optimized website" article of the year! Every single person selling mobile website conversions must bookmark this article, paste into word doc and print for face to face meetings, prepare an email of this article and send to business leads, take it to bed with them for warmth at night!

Excellent information! Just curious what everyone's thought on this concept: "Format mobile as an all-in-one page, optimized for mobile searches"

I have seen different templates where some put all their information on one page (usually with collapsable content) and then others that split the information out into different pages. My thought is to split everything out which also helps to keep the pages smaller in size. But I would love to hear other's opinions.

Here is another good one... "5 Signs Your Mobile Strategy is Failing"
5 signs your mobile strategy is failing (single page view) - iMediaConnection.com

I especially like the ending of the article:

"... Heading into 2012, the mobile revolution will be continually replaced by evolution, as more businesses wake up to the reality that mobile adoption and strategy adaptation are critical for survival.

Yes, mobile is here to stay, and that requires a strategic change on your part if you're to satisfy mobile's differences. Avoid my warning signs by familiarizing yourself with mobile fundamentals. Or use a network or agency partner until you are completely comfortable."

This is a wonderful concept. Definitely there can be so much improvement in one's business if one can have a try on it. Great ideas on mobile optimization means great mobile marketing business. Otherwise, I think a good template is where the information is split onto different pages rather than having it all put on one page alone. Small pages are actually good.
