Hi, I`m still looking for a way to implement a database with products into a mobile site. Be it xml or csv datafeeds. A few potential clients with online shops have asked me about this when i pitched them for developing a mobile version of their site.. Telling them: Ehm, i don`t know how to do that (yet) makes you look kind of .... ![]() Especially when they go to google and find mobile site providers who facilitate this option with ease. Any tips/solutions are welcome.. Thanks, Charles. |

Simple templates will not work for such businesses unless you know how to integrate the template with the database. You will need a custom solution for such places because they will have different types of sites and different types of ecommerce/shopping cart platforms. If you don't know how to do it or don't want to do it, you should find a person who can build ecommerce type of mobile sites. This work will take longer than editing a simple mobile template and you should charge more for this. Or you could as well forget this type of businesses and go for the ones that will not require a mobile ecommerce solution. |
