Mobile websites + affiliate marketing = $ ?

Has anyone tried this method?

1. Find a good buyer keyword
2. Build up a simple mobile affiliate site with lead capture
3. Collect the lead and sell on the back end

Do PPC or SEO for the site. Is it possible to do SEO for a stand alone mobile site at all?

And how would Google think about mobile affiliate websites?

And i`m not talking about Offline mobile lead generation just curious has anyone tried this method..

I was wondering the same thing, apparently google gives preference to your website if it is mobile optimized when searching with a mobile. I haven't seen any mobile affiliate sites either, so I guess there might be a huge opportunity in this.

Sounds interesting. It´s a market niche that will probably fill up very soon, just give them a few months time, when everybody and his mum owns a smartphone. Worth giving a try while the field is still relatively empty...

So what kind of products would you be selling, info products is not a real options cus i don't see you downloading a PDF to your smartphone (yet) maybe if you do promote like amazon or something like that so people can order and get it sent home, while i am typing i think of tickets for games and concerts and stuff... it has defiantly potential but i think it is still early in the game.

Jay (Moreno) posted a view days back an article about how Google just rolled out the mobile spiders (click here for the post) to index mobile optimized sites.

I have done some normal SEO (like back-linking) on a test site and i can't say that it did me any good, i am in the top 10 of google.nl for my keyword but i am nowhere to be seen in m.google.nl... so i think doing real SEO will still takes some time to get results.
