SMS Marketing..What's best the way to get business??

Hey Guys! I'm somewhat new to warrior forum. I've started my own sms marketing business and i'm trying to figure out the best way to gain some business!!

Try YellowPages.com and search for various niches to see who's paying for ads there. If they're advertising there then there's a good chance they will spend money on other various methods including SMS.

Hey there, check out Groupon, Living Social and Google Places. Yellow Pages is also great too but someone already said that lol

Offer your service to them for a free trial period. There are also some WSO's in the WSO section that will help you out as well.

Free trial program is a terrific idea ... another foot-in-the-door strategy for SMS business is free or reduced setup fee.

I have seen other people selling packages for sms like this $99 Set up and $149 per month for upto 2000 text.

Offer to wave the setup fee and get them signing up people to their list. go back 30 days latter. Tell them how many people are on the list, offer a onetime blast for x.x cents per person to try it out. You need to make sure that it is a killer offer.

Stop by a few day latter and ask how it went. Then sign them up for the monthly plan!!

Free trials = a lot more cancellations BUT a lot more setups. Most times it does mean more sales when the dust is cleared. The drawback is it draws freebie seekers that are PITA.

And free setups and free trials are almost the same. With free setups we take their payment info, so that's what sets them apart.

Find the people who are already advertising (via their ads), and contact them. find people who are advertising ineffectively online and show them how you could increase their effectiveness ten-fold

Reach out to your customers by giving them great support is always a plus. Also, Affiliate programs are great to get your name out on the internet!

You are still in front of the curve. Businesses want text services first, and then mobile sites.
