I have one question, are their people really making enough money to support a family with mobile marketing for local business besides the ad networks? I am in Michigan and it really sucks here for any business.

Ask my Accountant and my Stock Broker! lol The Michigan Economy is in dire financial straits as we can all see in the news. The nice thing about advertising is the worse the economy is the greater the need for cost effective marketing. Keep in mind that there is a huge difference between Mobile Marketing and Mobile Advertising. Local businesses generally do not to a lot of mobile advertising Don't let the economic climate get in the way of you cashing in. |

Hey! I am in MI too, local businesses do not see the value in SMS or any form of mobile marketing! it is a hard sell!

I am not having a problem selling it here in Chicago. Most business owners are getting younger around here and they see the value because they use the technology themselves. What are you trying to sell them? You have to show them that the investment will provide a return that justify's the cost to implement it. Most mobile sites, campaigns I run for local company's help them reach a local audience and generate there own lists to direct market to on slow days. There are tons of ways to mix things to fit a company's needs and show them that it can increase business when it is slow or generate return customers ect.. |
