Mobile Website Platform??
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

All,

the info in the forum is amazing and I thank all who have shared!!

I'm adapt at making wordpress blogs..sites. The one question I do have that I can't for some reason get my brain around is a platform to produce mobile websites.

I have heard some say use wordpress...some have platforms that specialize in making mobile sites only etc..

I think the ease of use, look and functionality are sticking points in using any platform.

that being said I would like to ask those in this forum what are your thoughts on the best platform to use in making and selling mobile sites??

thanks in advance for your input and happy new year to all!

I think you meant you are "adept"! lol

We have hard coded mobile websites as well as used "Builders". As of late we have been reselling Dudamobile's solution as it allows us to build a 30 second sneakpeak of a clients mobile site which has been an amazing sales tool.

You have to "Apply" to become a reseller for them and have an existing clientbase but at 6 bucks a month for a reseller to host a site, access to CMS, and selling tools it can't be beat in our opinion.

Dude, your links on your website's contact page are un-clickable. I also agree with you. I've been with DudaMobile since the beginning of August this year, the month they went public and the only thing I use for a standard website platform is WordPress. Wordpress is great. See the photo of what I just finished up for a customer of mine. You can see the relationship that Duda and WordPress has. You can also look at my portfolio as well. .... and HypeText, if you need any help with designing, just let me know.

I'm not sure why you feel the links on our contact page are unclickable, we receive email off of them all the time and I just checked them and they seem to be working fine. They arent clickable on our Mobile site because we want them to use our contact button on the main page of the mobile site. What browser are you using?

Hey @gkappny

We've got a free Wordpress plugin that you can use to make basic mobile landing pages just as easily as you can create a wordpress page. Check it out at OMFG! Mobile | Mobilizing Your Business

Let me know if you have questions! We appreciate any feedback!
