How to get SMS subscribers from website form?
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

Is there any existing html or php code that would allow me to have people enter their phone number on a website and be subscribed to my Openvbx subscriptions?

Even something on FB would work. A recent one I saw was this from Regal Cinemas:

Thanks all

I have been putting off adding mobile opt in to my websites. I am sure there are Aweber type services for mobile which allows you to send out mass mobile messages to subscribers. I would be curious to know what service(s) Warrior suggest?

I use openvbx and twilio and this would be a really nice product to have to put on client sites for easy mobile opt in. I am sure that this could be coded fairly easy by someone who knows the twilio/openvbx stuff. I would be willing to pitch in to have this one created.

This is a perfect example of the limitations of using a Twilio Based Service...Limited functionality.

I should know, I've built one.

I know they're your competition and you're a hater because of that, but don't go around saying things are limited when in fact they provide you the MOST control

Edit: if there is interest in a generic management solution I would love to re-open the project. Needs some funding love though.
I am not a "Hater" or a "Competitor"

Essentially we are talking Apples and Oranges

Twilio has its place but the fact is, it was never meant for marketing purposes.

It was meant as a Virtual Communication/PBX Platform that people are finding alternative uses for.
