Procrastination: The killer of success Hello fellow warriors, This message goes to anyone who is hesitating or afraid of approaching companies for mobile marketing services. My wife works for a company that has a couple hundred stores nationwide and I always told myself they would be a perfect fit for sms marketing. I finally asked my wife who I can talk to regarding their marketing efforts and she said I could talk to the district manager. I procrastinated too long, kept trying to work up the courage and kept thinking of what I would say or how much to charge them for this service. Finally a couple weeks went by and my wife calls me from the store and tells me "Guess what? We started doing that thing that you were talking about!" Now I'm just kicking myself in the @$$ for procrastinating. :( Lesson learned and hope any warriors who read this can learn from my mistake. I would of been able to quit my day job with just this one client and focus full time on Online/offline marketing. On a side note though I got my first SEO client on monday $250 a month for 5 keywords. That cheered me up a tiny bit. |
Re: Procrastination: The killer of success Society would be so much more advanced if it weren't for procrastination, and we as individuals would be as well, so your lesson is a good reminder. |

Re: Procrastination: The killer of success Tags: Killer, procrastination, success. So: Procrastination Kills Success. Got it! Glad you got that SEO though! |
Re: Procrastination: The killer of success Don't kick yourself. If it was only a few weeks I'm sure they had their idea in the works for longer than that. |
Re: Procrastination: The killer of success That’s an interesting lesson to learn. In marketing they say it is the first person or product that is remembered. Unfortunately, procrastination denies people the opportunity of being number one. |
