Local Mobile Marketing Question
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

I'm relatively new to the local mobile marketing world.

I understand the value to a business owner of having a mobile optimized site as well as a regular website from a ease of viewing and ease of navigation standpoint. But how do you drive traffic to the mobile site and how exactly do you turn that mobile site into paying customers or clients for the business?

Specific examples would be most appreciated.

Thanks.

Hey Writer2009,

There are many ways to generate traffic
to a mobile website, especially for a
business... One of the most used
ways is through a QR codes, that link the
person to your mobile site...

You could put QR codes around the stores,
on product boxes, on posters, and other
places -- which would allow people in store
to go to the site...

A thought would be to add some benefit to
them for accessing the site (Perhaps free
coupons).. That would be the easy way to
turn them into paying customers as well you
know....

Just a thought...

To your success,

Caleb

They could also have a redirect on their "regular" site that sends a phone user trying to access their site, straight to the mobile version.

I do voice over work... here's a SAMPLE

Its like rlhurst sad, most off the traffic will come from the mainsite that gets redirected to the mobile site... that is your whole selling point... mobile SEO hasn't really kicked of yet so you want be getting more visitors in amounts, but the visitors with a smartphone will be easier to convert into buying clients with a mobile web site.
