Don't want to reinvent the wheel !

I'd like to present potential clients a short report outlining the benefits of mobile and especially mentioning its possible promotional uses eg coupons, sms, etc

Does such a thing already exist?

Thanks in advance

Mobile is of course the product d'jour right now... you will find no shortage of WSOs in that forum... just be careful, 50 % of them are pure junk.. I know, I bought at least half of that 50% :-0

I think I've bought a larger % than you.

Whilst I've definitely got some really good wsos on building sites I haven't anything satisfactory for the purpose I mentioned in op.

I wouldn't necessarily recommend handing over a report to your potential clients. What happens is, so long as they have that report sitting somewhere they know there is no rush as they can always come back and read over it or contact you whenever they want. This leaves them feeling comfortable and content. Not the sort of thing that is going to drive them into action.

You want to give them the 'spiel' and if they do not sign up on the spot, leave them with a way to contact you and wish them a good day. Let them know you are off to talk to some of their competitors. Besides, the more information you give them and the more time they have to go over that information, the more reasons they are likely to come up with as to why they do not need the service you are offering.

Google actually has a very useful report generation tool that will produce a customized report in PDF that you can forward to a potential client.

It essentially outlines WHY they need a Mobile site and creates a sense of urgency. It's part of Googles GoMo Initiative and is available to Google Engage Agencies.

Conveniently we happen to be one so we have access to it.

You can visit it here: http://www.howtogomo.com/en/#gomo-meter

Here is what a sample report looks like

We deliberately do not include the last couple of pages...that way they come back to us. We also include our Logo and Phone number.

HypeText,

Very interesting. Wasn't aware of the report facility.

Thanks
