Let me second this. I am really down to choosing between Lime and Avid if I decide to offer this and would like to hear some testimonials from real customers of these companies.

The WordPress plugin from Chad Wyatt works very well. Still, it is a system that must be managed independent of everything else. I am using Instant Customer for SMS marketing. Instant Customer is a cross channel platform that integrates SMS, email, print (pricey), evergreen Webinars, and QR codes. Instant Customer used to be known as Monster Followup. It is a Traffic Geyser product. |

I was down to Avid and lime also but after looking at how Avid nickels and dimes you with $29 a month add ons that appear to be standard with Lime Cellular, I am really thinking I will be going with Lime. I should be investing in a few weeks will let you know. Suzanne |

I've used Trumpia in the past. A bit pricey but excellent support and my customers usually want to manage their own text messaging accounts. Plus you can also send email newsletters along with the sms.

signalhq is free to join, and has cross channel capabilities, you can run facebook competitions and do email marketing. The premium features start at $30, and fee is dependant on number of users, not number of text being sent On the downside, there is no white label solution |

I thought that Lime had a $600 worth of minutes buy-in requirement? What are the current requirements to start with Lime? Thomas |

You can still access their $300 per month model as well (which may be the $600 model you were referring to, they charged $600 to start) and that package has additional texts priced at $0.015 and includes nearly 20,000 messages.

Lime is no longer requiring a $600 deposit. Lime's true White Label packages vary from $147-$497.

you can get free text messaging from twitter. you just dont have a list and there is something else, lime is expensive, But they are one of the the top 10 resellers/whitelabel on the net. Make sure you have your ducts in a row otherwise you loose $$, meaning if you buy a monthly wl/reseller and dont get off your but to advertise and get clients then youll lose. hope that helps someone. |

Hi Rank on Top, I would disagree with you that Lime is expensive. You have to take into account all the features you get with Lime's dashboard. Sure there are some free services out there that might work for a few people some of the time. But what if you are running a real SMS business for clients and need to offer all the features, maintain databases of hundreds and thousands on customer lists and send true text blasts that are sent in seconds not minutes or hours and definitely not via smtp which might get blocked or not be able to track delivery of messages for your clients. 8 months ago I started in SMS and looked at 30+ platfroms before deciding to go with Lime. There is a lot of hype and trash out there regarding SMS companies and the features, support, and delivery they offer. I encourage everyone to definitely do their homework before making your SMS decision. Everyone has different needs but if you are serious about building a business for the long term you need a great product, better, support, and the best pricing. That is what Lime offers. You can now start with Lime as low as $147 per month. This is for full access to the dashboard and 5000 texts & additional texts at .019. Sell one of your clients a 1000 text package with full access to the platform and then the next 4 you sell are pure profit. Build your base of clients and work your way up to larger and better priced packages as you need them. The next package is $297mo for 15k texts & .015 for additional texts. Above that is $497mo for 30k texts and .01 for additional texts. When you get into large volumes of texts you can bulk buy as low as .005. Lime also only charges for outgoing texts and those coming in are free. Both of the 2 larger packages also include a full billing/invoice system and lets you assign sales agents and even resellers to your platform. This is a true white label setup with full branding for you and even branding for your resellers. The platform also has a full knowledgebase of video and pdf tutorials for your clients when they need help after accessing their dashboards. One of Lime's newest features are their very professional marketing materials that you can provide to your clients including image artwork table tents, signs, and even videos. When you combine that with their new online training program with instructions and quizzes for not only use of this powerful platform but also how to effectively present and sell this product to your local businesses you have a winning combination. Oh and don't forget exclusive access to the private forum for white label clients to get tips and advice of whats working with other clients across the country and Canada too. That's right the 71441 short code works in Canada as well as the US. The only way Lime is successful is if you are successful. You can take the Lime platform for a free text drive in my signature below. If you only have a few clients that need a powerful text platform like this and you don't want to do a full white label program but just be a reseller then send me a pm. So if you want to offer your clients, set and forget scheduled text blasts, mobile image coupons, qr codes (4 sizes & 12 colors), mobile landing pages, text auto responder, text to win sweepstakes, text polling, text questionnaires, mobile websites(another brand new feature) have everything Facebook and Twitter integrated, provide tracking reports on multiple items from opt ins to mobile coupons sent, viewed, and redeemed, and then be able to send invoices with easy online branded invoices that are Paypal or Authorize.net connected, get great support, and sleep peacefully at night knowing you are with a solid and stable company that will be here for years to come that doesn't sell against you in the retail market, that not only backs up its product but continues to enhance and improve it then LIME is for you. All of this with great support and the best pricing is why I am even more happy today with my decision 8 months ago to start with Lime. If you have any specific Lime or SMS questions feel free to send me a pm. So for the complete package compare apples with apples and Lime will come out on top. Now get out there and make some money!!!

I'm only just testing them now, but Signal has all the typical features and pricing better than any I've seen, starting at $30/month for unlimited messages to up to 1000 subscribers.

I use and enjoy Txt180's white label platform but I also did a lot of research on both Lime and Avid. Both are very good, robust platforms, Avid has been around a while and between the two of them lime was less expensive even back when I was looking into it, which I think they have dropped in cost since. I still prefer txt180 over either of them mainly for two reasons: 1.the platform for both the reseller and my customers is very easy to use and 2. I have yet to find a less expensive alternative. Hope this helps! b |

I've been using TXT180 for almost a year now and I have zero complains about them. The customer service is awesome and the product is awesome. It's simple to learn and teach clients which make it easier for us. Actually the only thing I wish they had for an affiliate program for resellers so I can get paid for recommending them like I am doing right now. haha If anyone has questions about txt180 feel free to PM. I should be able to answer pretty much any question that you have about them. Sean |

Lime looks like the way I will go based on some info I got emailed over to me by a helpful rep who saw my posts here. Lime was proactive to try and earn my business and show me why I should choose them. I have not started with them yet but unless soemthing changes they will be my choice and given my earlier post in this thread I feel I should follow up with my "decision". |

OpenVBX and Twilio. Totally customizeable and easy to create custom apps whereby people can call in or text a keyword to get on a list. I've set up a number of different flows for a bunch of niches, CPA offers, and even a text "birthday club". A caller calls in and presses the number of the month they were born in (ex. 1 for Jan, 2 for Feb, etc.) and gets put on that months list. Just drag and drop and create cool apps for just about any niche.

It is very hard to answer the question because every mobile campaign is different. Take the time to understand your campaign and research different companies that can really fit with your campaign. Also, try looking for multi-channel marketing platforms. These not only will attract your mobile customers but also attract other type of customers that prefer a different mode of communication. Good luck!

What's the deal with SignalHQ and Tatango? How can they offer unlimited texts per subscriber levels (as low as $30/mo for 1000 subscribers at Signal or $24/mo for 250 subs at Tatango)? By my calc if they budget 10 x messages per subscriber (because some campaigns reply with 2-3 messages each like text2win) their per message price is $0.003 each! How is this possible? Is this sustainable? Is this SMTP or true SMPP SMS?

[QUOTE=zenyatta;5679333]Hi Rank on Top, You can now start with Lime as low as $147 per month. This is for full access to the dashboard and 5000 texts & additional texts at .019. Sell one of your clients a 1000 text package with full access to the platform and then the next 4 you sell are pure profit. Lime also only charges for outgoing texts and those coming in are free. Question for you Zenyatta regarding the pricing above. If I want to become a white label reseller then the most I'd be charged per month is $497 ? If I then get clients in at 1000 text packages would each 1 be billed the Lime min ($147/month) or would their packages come off my 30K package ? Thanks.. Troy |

You choose the actual price you want to charge clients. It can be $147, $197 or whatever you would like. It is completely up to you and what your local market will bear. Yes Lime deducts text credits from your monthly plan based on outgoing texts. The incoming texts are FREE so your credits are only used for outgoing texts. Besides the number of texts and their costs the lowest priced plan is the same as the higher priced plan except it doesn't having the invoicing and billing options. Let me know if you have any other questions. Zen

I've used Trumpia as a private label along with their unlimited keyword package... was a great deal and worked fine. I think they have a great look if you're a consultant and want a hands off approach with your clients. Also, for my own sites... I love Chads SMS WP plugin. Nice and easy for my campaigns. |
