Just wanted to stop by and share with everyone the results my first clients got from using my mobile marketing system. This company is a Restaurant and Brewery in a town of about 45K people. We've been building their list for a couple months and they were up to 453 subscribers. Yesterday around 4:30 we sent out their first Mobile Coupon and at the end of the night, the owner text me and said the coupons generated about $600 in sales for their Restaurant. He was THRILLED about the results and can't wait to do the next deal! Mobile Marketing is LEGIT! |

The message was "new beer release tonight, $5 off $25 dinner. Valid 3/1/12 only." That was basically what it said. The owner is pretty pumped now that he sees that I want just blowing smoke up his a**. He's on the hook now so I'm looking forward to building his list even more and making his business a lot of money |

Great job! Use him as your reference and get 5 new restaurants that want to increase sales the same way. Then you can branch into other business verticals. |

Just so everyone knows... I use the Wordpress plugin by Chad Wyatt integrated with Twilio for my mobile marketing. As for my pricing model, this was my first client with mobile and I really just wanted to get in the door and use him as an example. We are not doing a monthly subscription for him. We charged a $197 set up fee and gave him his own local #. With the $197 we gave him 18 table tents customized for his Restaurant. His keyword is BREW. As you all know, Twilio's pricing is .01/msg. We are letting this customer do a "Pay As You Go" type thing and his costs are .05/msg with a minimum of $20/message sent. We do not charge him for "incoming texts" for the purpose of building his list. It's only cost us around $10 to build his list up to this point so it's worth it to us. This is obviously a ridiculously low price and I know that....... But now I have an example to go out like Austin357 said and get 5 new restaurants to sign up at a much higher rate! So it cost him $22.65 to send out the first message and resulted in $600 in sales. Which is about a 2649% return on investment |

These are great results but make sure your client understands that the more often you send out these deals, the less effective they will be. The business owner might think great, this has worked so well lets run an offer every couple of days. Try and limit your sms marketing to a maximum of 6 messages per month. That's a little more than one a week. This way you won't annoy your list and your special offers will still generate buzz.

BestPMarketing, Well done and congrats. We need more people to post results like this! A small suggestion if i may... next client... track and document exactly when you started building their list... how many signups on a week to week basis, the date you sent out first message and all messages in the first month. What kind of sales came in from first offer, and any other metric you wanna track. That would be an awesome case study and proof to take to your future clients. Also perhaps offer your first client another full month free service if he will send out that case study to other restaurant owners he knows and video tape a testimonial on your behalf. Keep up the good work! Kam |
