QR codes on business cards

I'm getting some new cards. I wanted to put a QR code on a card I will be using at a seminar.

I'm going to a seminar and will pass out 1000 cards. For this card, I wanted to be able to gather the contact info from the person with a QR code.

How do I do this?

I want them to scan and I get the contact info.

Is there a QR code creator online that will do it?

Really the best way to collect their contact info only using a QR Code is to have a mobile page that has a contact form. Scan the QR Code below to see what Im talking about.

I use wufoo.com to create the form. They allow up to three forms to be created and up to 100 entries per month for FREE

If you really want to maximize collecting contact info, then I suggest text message marketing. For example, have the prospect text a KEYWORD to a SHORTCODE. You can see this work by texting "nickroman" to 90210. The return text will give you access to my mobile website where that form is, but the best part I have captured your cell # for future communication. I suggest you try it out. Don't worry, you can opt out of my system by responding to STOP after the first two messages.

Thanks for the reply. This is what I'm working on now.

I have a mobile landing page and I just use my own HTML code for the optin for one of my autoresponders.

I wasn't sure if there was an easier way to scan. My wife has this "BUMP" thing on her phone that exchanges contact info. I wondered it a QB code can be setup to just send that info over to me.

You can very easily create a QR Code that either goes to a URL or is a contact form.
In case of a URL it's often best to shorten it with Bitly.com or some similar service.
Esponce.com has a QR Code generator which lets you choose what kind of QR you want to generate, including a URL shortener. You can also choose the amount of error correction so that you can customize your code to make it more enticing.

I remember when I saw a company that made biz cards out of cd-rom. I thought it was so cool!

Wonder if there is a good biz opp to team up w/ biz card printers to offer their customers a QR code and mobile site. How cool would it be to have the QR code link to a intro video about you and your product/service?

I also sell wholesale printing to the public.

Not focusing on any one social platform. There is the ability to have a link to your social sites. I have 37 different social sites you can choose from. G+ being one of them.
