Im not looking for a company that sells mobile marketing products I'm looking for a person who actually uses mobile marketing strategies in their business model.

HypeText, I know you are constantly on the forum actively speaking up about the Lime platform, What is your exact relationship to Lime? How many sms clients do you currently have, do you have a sales office or what is your business model? You seem to be on the forum an very very frequently and are constantly trying to push the Lime platform so I think it is time to start answering questions. Do not get me wrong I think Limes platform is one of the best out there hands down, but you are constantly on here really pushing there platform and positioning your self as an expert.

We do much more than just SMS...SMS is only one aspect of our offerings. As for disclosing the number of clients we have? I'm sorry, but I dont feel obligated to disclose that information. Our client base is made up of our own clients and clients of our resellers. We arent the largest firm out there, but neither are we the smallest. I don't push the Lime Platform, I endorse it. There is a difference. When people ask about it I am happy to share my experience with it. We licensed Limes Platform for our use. We do not work for them or have any other relationship with them. As for my "positioning myself as an expert", this is what I do as a full time gig. I maintain an office, pay my bills with what I make, and offer my opinion when it might be helpful. If others Regard me as an Expert then that is only because they found value in what I had to offer. I field phone calls several times a week from Warriors who pick up the phone and either just ask questions or inquire about our Reseller Program. I am unaware of any of them walking away not feeling that I know what I am talking about. If you look at the time stamps on my postings you will notice they are primarily early morning before work, during lunch, and after hours. That is because I work the rest of the day. At 24 total posts I realize you cannot PM but you could have just as easily sent an email asking questions about my Company by Clicking the links in my signature Line.

Is it just me, or is anyone else noticing a lot of posts that are totally irrelevant to the original topic popping up lately? What's up with that? |

They are always going to happen. Just make sure you click on the little red triangle and report them so we can delete them. I spend a lot of time deleting posts from this mobile forum... these people are just wasting their time if they think their posts are actually going to stick.

I think you can find a lot of individuals on this forum that are experts in different facets of mobile marketing. Quentin and WillR are great resources for mobile optimized websites, for example. If you're looking for info on SMS text marketing, there are a lot of folks that work directly for the platform providers like James Huston with Avid and UV with Lime. Mobile Marketing is a broad topic with a lot of different moving pieces. Use this forum to do some research and it will become apparent what facets of MM you choose to delve into.
