Do you have any ideas on mobile marketing companies? I´m thinking of trying that since i think that traditional e-mail lists are on it´s way down...

Mobile marketing is the next big thing! Personally, I'm in a successful business that's heavily reliant on mobile communication. Email autoresponders are plunging with their open rates, while SMS texting have way higher conversion rates.

I am not Techie, so as far as sending and receiving SMS is concerned, I need a 'ready/easy to use' platform. I have therefore joined a new platform where membership includes 4 'own' business centres for sending/receiving limitless number of SMS including very easy video embed and host of other features and 1 'given' business centre (being an affiliate type arrangement for the mobile business software itself, i.e. business in a box). I see this as a very strong business model which is about to come out of beta phase, so attractive price and features at moment. If anyone is interested, pls let me know.

Very impressive. Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I have been trying out several white label providers and watching many webinars. I was torn between avid and lime. I didn't care about the limited mobile templates from lime and wanted more. I review the webinar for Avid and became very interested and signed up online for a free trial, just like I had with several others including lime. It's been nothing but a hassle trying to get the trial account activated. I have been working with Mark C and although he has been very responsive, my user name and password for their trial account has once again come back "invalid". I've tried several browsers as suggested..no luck. Guess I'll go with Lime, especially after hearing good things listed in this thread. Again, thank you so much for the great information. |

I urge you people don't go with Avid , they have the worst customer service out there , I actually signed up a client and he was signed up as a reseller instead , I had to wait 3 business days to have them switch the account to marketer , their platform does not allow you to cancel or to modify any account, if something happens outside of business hours , you are screwed ... I had to CC the big boss to have their technical support do something , it was a nightmare ...!! I switched to Lime and I am very happy ! |

I've just started with mobile marketing and I'm very thankful for the information posted here. I wouldn't have thought of creating my own list like you did. Hopefully as time goes on I will be able to share some secrets of my own. best wishes, Jason |

MoBuzz thank you so much for this. Im currently taking action with Lime Cellular but i have a few questions. 1. Where do you get table tents from, would it be any graphics company? 2. Where can I tighten up my skills on Google Places? 3.Im confused, is the Google keyword tool the same as google analytics? 4.how to go about creating a mobile website based on the current restaurants website and what does subdomain mean as far as mobile websites? and how do I add a mobile site without hosting login credentials? 5. My plan starting off. Create a one page website based on my services that I provide to business owners, using video marketing etc.. should I also create a one page website exclusively for people to opt-in? Or should I rely on the table tents, fliers and advertising mainly for that? Thanks MOBUZZ |

I heard lots of good feedback about mobile marketing. Is this easy for a newbie? How is the technical part of it?

A good example is shown in post 353. Now the business owner sees the numbers, acknowledges that there is money to be made and now you can offer them value by setting up their marketing campaign, giving them promotional tools etc.

I'm glad to see that you're having success with Mobile Marketing. It encourages me that it actually works for businesses. I'm starting a text message marketing service. Simply, just managing text campaigns for local restaurants and sending out deals and coupons through text. I like your idea for showing businesses immediate results. What's another way I can show prospects that it can work for them? I don't think I can afford your method. I feel that I'm boring my prospect by telling them about my service rather than how it can bring them more money. Thank you for your help.

Great advice! I've been doing mobile marketing for a bit of time now and can say that building your own list helps out tremendously. Business owners are generally skeptical of people who say they can bring in x amount of customers a month. If you are able to show them first hand though that will make you stand out against any of your competition. Bottom line: show them they are getting a good value. Bring in customers to their store because you want to help them, not because you want their money. Taking the viewpoint of wanting to help businesses rather than profit from them will make you trustworthy and well respected in your community.

In im living in Northern Ireland and have started my own list for the Belfast city area. I have called it Belfast VIP. To join my VIP list you text BELFASTVIP to 07786xxxx90. I have nearly 100 people opt onto my list with no offers. I really need to start approaching businesses and im going to offer a number of them a free one time SMS offer. MY question is what the best businesses to approach with this other than pizza shops take always and restaurants. Many thanks for any help. |

That's a great strategy. You may even build a big enough SMS list to offer a coupon blast and set up a revenue share for those businesses that don't want to invest in a monthly plan. Once they experience the positive results of the coupon blast they will be more likely to join...very cool Nice stuff |
