Hi guys, Just a quick question about mobile sites, I keep hearing about mobile and after having all my sites hit by panda and now the deindexing of BMR my income has dropped to just about zero so im starting again ! So i thought along side offering moblie sites for local biz ect ect some of you where actually building mobile sites as stand alone sites for simple affiliate marketing Amazon, CJ ect etc like mini neich sites and then ranking them on google. But after looking into it today i cannot see any examples of this am i wrong ? Can you actually build a small mobile affiliate site and rank it on google without it being a sister site of a site already ranked site in the serps ?? Thanks Jim |

You certainly can build mobile only affiliate sites. You need to make sure to make your checkout process as easy as possible, and be aware if you link back to the vendor's site, that it is somewhat functional on a mobile device. The down side is that you cut out the desktop traffic, which could make it hard to be profitable with organic search traffic. If you drive traffic through mobile ad networks,(admob, jumptap, inmobi) it might be successful.

Thanks for the reply so with this "The down side is that you cut out the desktop traffic" your saying that although mobile maybe the future its not here yet and building mobile only sites for affiliate marketing is alittle premature ?? PS Can you view and click adsense on mobile as i very afew adsense sites so could i build small mobile sites to add to these as a sister sites for when folks search with mobile or not ? thanks |
