Hi Desmond, I use Quentins script (and course - which I really do recommend) as a basis then adapt where necessary. To be honest you can't go wrong with either Quentins or Willr's, although I haven't used Willr's, I'm just going on the very positive feedback from users who have. All the best Sev |

Nice. Seems like everyone has their own preferred way of making the sites. The poll seems equally spread out now.

I do my own sites and for others. I mainly use Dreamweaver, Gimp for graphics (if needed). I find generally, most designers over complicate the process. Think back to basics - real basics. |

I have white labels with piJnz and brickandmobile. Brickandmobile is good for simple fast sites, piJnz is good for high-end (bigger brand more $$ sites). Also use a freelancer for custom work.

I have purchased both WillR and Quinten's programs... they both do come highly recommended. I did that because they are both very different and I wanted to learn as much as possible. They are both very inexpensive and I would recommend anyone without knowledge do the same.

We are currently developing (95% completed) a CMS that is intended for consultants like myself - it's a normal main site CMS but also automatically switches to the appropriate style for either mobile, tablet or dekstop. It has a blog module, an SEO wizard etc etc. It is also e-commerce for desktop and m-commerce for mobile (although these modules are currently being themed). Next main module is for SMS Marketing. It has a host of other modules including multi-lingual.

Seeing that the majority voted for "Buying templates to customize" (so far anyway), I will mention that I have found a lot of great templates on Premium WordPress Themes, Web Templates, Mobile Themes | ThemeForest Some of them look really fantastic, and they're only like 10 bucks. I'm not affiliated with them in any way...just passing along the resource. I found myself spending a lot of time just looking through them because there are so many great ones and I had a hard time choosing. |

I'm using a desktop Mobile Website builder software to create my mobile Websites. You can make a lot of money easily with a mobile Websites design service with a good software. I charge 500 to 1500$ to build a mobile Website that takes me less than 2 hours without writing a single html code line. Once the Website is delivered, I make some recurrent revenue with maintenance services. |

Greetings Desmond, When it comes to mobile sites, i would have to say what you use depends on your goals. Are you looking to drive traffic or to resell the sites to local businesses or anyone else who wants a web presence? What is your brand? This is also a huge question. Are you looking to make money quickly and happy to provide a good product, or are you a high-roller pimped out brand that is Elita in cost and must really stand out? If you are just looking to start making money quickly, and you don't have a whole team of artists and outsourcers to take care of creating sites for you, you should probably go with the template approach and upgrade when you can. Otherwise, I have seen this great plug in called "Mobile LP's" that would really work great for creating customized pages and NOT having to pay a monthly fee to anyone! Hope that helps... have a great day! Sincerely, Roman |

Mobile sites ARE the future and the future is just about here. I really need to create a dynamic mobile site for my recent launch. I want my members to be able to access the site and learn and apply anywhere they go. Does anyone have a link to Quintin's program? Can I do it myself if I am not super techy?

If you don't know how to build it from scratch then... If you use WiilR ( http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...ailable.html#1 - I am not affiliated, just a customer), then you can follow his short and clear videos and build it by updating his template. I would say that knowing some html will be helpful for you as you will need to update code. you will also need to use ftp and Will has detailed video instructions. I recommend getting his course even if you don't choose to build sites with his templates since it is a very good mobile course in general. If you are familiar with wordpress - it will be easy for you to use sunnygal's plugin - easy mobile generator. her plugin is flexible and offer lots of options. be prepared to watch lots of videos. link is in my above post. Other then that I know there are other mobile builders that may be easier / quicker to use but I have not yet found the one that fits everything I am looking for. Hope this helps. |

I haven't been able to find quentin's original offer, not sure if it's no longer available or if it's just hiding from me. I did find another offer by him that uses wordpress but this offer is from 2011 and the last few posts on the thread (dated as far as march this year) were not answered, also - when scanning his mobile site sample qr code, it redirected to another one of his products. so altogether, it seems like the offer may no longer be supported. my best advise is: since quentin is around the forum frequently, send him a message and ask. Edit: I think I found it: http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...-websites.html (not affiliated and in this case I am not a customer, at least not yet but heard only good things about it). | |

I have tried various mobile site builders and although they may simplify things, I found little quirks in all of them. So I designed my own templates, similar to willr, but unique to my preferences. They are built around php coding, but I made them as brain-dead simple as I could. I can create an entire site in less than 30 minutes and change the layout or color scheme in about 2 minutes. Personally, I would stay away from auto site builders. If you are serious about building mobile sites, you eventually will want a little more flexibility. |

Many people build their own mobile sites with the help of one of the best software, which you may get on various websites. On the other hand, there are quite a few people, who hire experts for such projects. I think building one for your own site will be a better option, since in that case you will know what you want and implement the same in a much better manner rather than explaining things to others.

I have also looked into WP mobile plugins for some of my current clients, but like auto-builders, they all lack something or have little quirks. Something like that would be a big help. Who knows, maybe I'll build one of those, too. Until then, I'll stick with html or php sites. They give me so much more control.

Easier than building a traditional website! Mobile websites are the simplified version of what you'd put into a traditional desktop oriented website. Only the essentials need apply to mobile sites. Even better is the fact that there is a new CSS specification called Media Queries. So you can take any website you have up, and override the settings with media queries-- resize and or reposition elements on your webpage based on the browsers' screen resolution and orientation. |

Hi, I bought Will's, then bought Quentin's, sort of took the best of both - they both are the best anyway - and while putting it all together to get what I had in mind I learned so much that I could now say it is my own thing. It was lots of fun, and you never stop learning new things. But I had to restrict myself from getting too enthusiastic about the technical aspects. Number One priority is to sell that thing. Dan, I can attest to that (I tried to quote, but kept getting a database error). I get caught up in the creation, editing, tweaking, etc. of these site and don't spend enough time selling them. I guess I just love the technical aspects of web design, be it mobile or otherwise. |

I use Notepad ++. Any text editor will work, but you need at least a little knowledge of html or php coding. But don't let that scare you. With the templates that I use, I can change an entire color scheme or layout by changing one line of code. As long as the template is laid out correctly and the instructions are clear, it's really easy to do.
