I saw someone mention creating a mobile site directory and using that as added value to include businesses you're selling mobile websites to. My question is about setting up the mobile site directory. Any guidance, starting points appreciated. I'm new to mobile websites myself.

The best and easiest way is to get a domain name dot tel .tel (telnic.org) Then very easy to setup a responsive directory free (no need hosting; scripts...) |

1) Get a mobile responsive theme 2) Either create listings or get a directory plugin (Directory Script - Create Directory Websites in Minutes! has a full theme, not sure if its mobile responsive, and no that's not an affil link). If its not mobile responsive, simply get a directory plugin. This way you can show them the site both on a laptop or on a phone or tablet. (Responsive themes adjust according to size and look fantastic with no extra plugins). I have software for a directory but its really old and not wordpress, so I really don't use it anymore. (Hyperseek - they may have updated since). It's not the cheapest out there, but it IS really powerful, esp. for billing. I would think you could still make it responsive depending on what type of html you use. Hope this helps. Amber | |
