Customer Front End + Twilio: Does one exist?
Share on:

I have Chad's plugin but it's very obvious to customers that it's a wordpress-based system. Is anyone aware of a existing software solution that ties into Twilio allowing customers to login and manage their SMS broadcasting? (See sent messages, schedule messages, change their welcome/quit messages, see subscriber count)

I realized that although I love the idea of a managed account, I don't want to be subject to the beck and call of 300 customers in the next 12 months.

Look up white label branding plugins for wordpress. You should be able to brand the screens as your own and restrict their views to only the SMS plugin.

I should have clarified: a front end that is not WordPress-based. Lol.

Right, if you remove all branding and change the directory names that WP uses I don't think it would be obvious at all that you are using WP, especially to a client.

I was in the same situation - I used Chad's autoreminder software but didnt want the client knowing it was wordpress. So, I programmed an application that would, on the front end, look like a regular piece of desktop software, but on the backend would connect into wordpress and do the necessary functions that were required.

Nice. Are you able to modify the application for each of your clients fairly easily?

I'm thinking about outsourcing some programming for an alternative web-based solution. The ROI is there just from the standpoint of customer-access to the data.
