What is the easiest way to make apps? (For iphone etc)

Can someone please explain the third party websites that promote free app making. Is there usually a catch?

I would like to make some apps - but have no programming knowledge.

It really depends what you mean by an app. There are apps, and there are apps. You can use an online generator to create a basic type of app that only has information in it but if you were looking to create some type of complex game or other functional app, then the process and cost is going to be a lot more elaborate.

The 'catch' with most online app generators is they are VERY limited in what they can do and a lot of them will also start charging you for that app after a certain period of time.
