I created a mobile site for a restaurant, got paid for it, and now am having a heck of a time getting the redirect to work. It is a Genesis site, with AgentPress child. I'm wondering if anyone has experience using WP Redirect plugins?

Since I'm not a PHP guru I don't know exactly what some of the error codes mean. Here is one that I get on my android phone, when I try to access the restaurant's regular site:

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/xxxxxxxx/public_html/main/wp-content/themes/genesis/functions.php:2) in /home/xxxxxxxx/public_html/main/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 886

Probably a piece of cake for some guys, but not for me!

You will find many solutions for your Wordpress mobile redirect problem they vary from basic to feature rich, from free to paid, from hobbyist to professionally developed and supported.

We also offer V1 of our popular redirect plugin for free too if you wanted to give that a try.

Otherwise head over to Google and do a quick search you will find several - we have used many in the past however we typical found we where not able to have the flexibility we wanted to accommodate all of our mobile clients with just one solution so we ended up developing our own

Thanks for your help, Jay! I downloaded your V1 plugin last night, (found you on a google search! - good job). I will try it tonight after my client's busy restaurant is closed.

$12 for your v2.2 is a bargain too - if it works for my client!

Hi Stephen, thats great - if you do buy v2 and have problems getting it to work let me know we offer full support or your money back, sometimes wordpress developers have different approaches to designing their themes and in the few cases we have seen its often no more than a simple tweak of their code to get our redirect to work.

Jay, does your plugin take care of everything? Like not having to drop a php snippet into the header or funtions folders?

Can I use it on multiple client mobile directs?

What do you have for html (non WP) sites?

You seem like you've been around the block a few times with this!

Hi Stephen, it does do everything that you need with some cool features too - will enable your visitors to return back to the desktop site without constantly being redirected back to the mobile site, many redirects dont do this. Additionally you can choose between javascript screen size detection or php user agent detection.

With the javascript version enabled you can add an alert to your users screen prompting to choose to go to the mobile site or not...

As for html sites i posted that snippet that will work fine since its javascript based - on the next update of the plugin we will be adding some more features plus providing solutions for non dynamic sites too - we are just wrapping up our mobile framework for wordpress , once thats done we will do the update of the plugin.
