Is there anyone available that could talk to me on instant messenger or through here to answer a few questions I have about SMS marketing. I'm just curious about what companies/deals would be best to use. Also if there's any e-books where I can learn everything I need as well as pricing. That would be great. Thanks, Darrett |

I use clickatell as my sms gateway. The API is easy to setup / use .. lots of features .. you can also monitor confirmation of delivery to carrier - tower - handset You can check out ther website for all the features. Pricing is on their website. They cover 220 countries and 960 plus networks. Does mobile marketing work? .. ABSOLUTELY .. and the results are instantaneous. I use it for one of my hairdresser clients. Welcome messages, appointments, specials .. etc Any questions, feel free to fire away |

Have you personally taken any of the courses? If so how did you find them?

I have just purchased a SMS Wordpress Plugin software that I found on warriorforum. It looks like it has everything I need to manage my own client lists and pull numbers from twilio. There are options for sending to only 100 out of 1000 on a list and other detailed options like that. I am starting an SEO, Webdesign, Mobile Marketing, and Social Media Integration business and the Mobile Marketing is my sole responsibility. I am new to this and researching everything I can, but just recently found warriorforum and after reading posts for the last hour, I am wondering if I made a mistake by purchasing the Wordpress software over paying a monthly fee. I keep hearing mention of Lime Cellular... I think (Lime Something) as a provider of SMS services. Can anyone tell me the pros and cons of paying per month for a provider over just managing it all on my own via wordpress?? The user that I bought the software from is ChadWyatt(i think thats right... i'll repost if i misspelled) |

Hi Bob, Thank you for the quick reply. I will contact you as soon as I have all of my questions together, that way I don't waste your time. Feeling a little scattered about the whole thing at the moment, but just watched some Lime Cellular Tutorial Videos on YouTube and it looks like something I will soon be interested in. -Corey |

Thank you guys for all your feedback! Tsnyder, my main question is that I'm wondering what the best service would be, and how to present/structure it to explain to someone like a restaurant owner. Also was curious about pricing. |

You can see some use cases on how a restaurant owner can use SMS Marketing to drive business here: Call Message Broadcast, Automated Calling Software, Automated Call Service - Call-Em-All Short code sms pricing industry wide is all pretty competitive. What it comes down to is choosing a service that can compete with customer service and ease of use. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask. Seth |

I don't think SMS marketing can bring great results, at least - not in a short time. There are other marketing techniques that do bring excellent results in less time.

Whichever way a company gets customers/prospects into the business, the key here is to use SMS to keep them coming back. This is where a lot of business owners are missing the boat - not knowing who these (especially new) customers are and communicating with them. Many customers have those smart phones out or accessible and all they need is a little incentive to "text to XXXXXXXXX for ZZZZZZ" or scan this code for XXXXXXXX. | |

Be sure to check out Avid Mobile in your research. I'm an Avid client and chose them over Lime and many others. Has been a great choice for me.

I think that is completely correct. SMS isn't the magic tool and ultimately it is going to drive recurring revenue (cheaper acquisition cost) than it is to drive new revenue. Also, while smartphones, QR Codes and apps seem to be the latest greatest (and they are, don't get me wrong), Nielson still says only 40% have smartphones so there are 60% of cell phone owners that won't get access to a smartphone campaign, but there is not a cell phone around that won't get a text message (if enabled). |

I also use this method to build my list using the call in option but once you have a list over 1000, it will cost you a minimum of $10 every time you send a message to your list. The twilio program works well for small lists. It's less expensive than other sms provider charges.

I used smscaster. No shortcode cost. I am not an affiliate for smscaster but this is the most cost effective way to send text messages. It uses a mobile phone to send messages so purchasing a pre paid plan with an unlimited plan is the best way to go.

Mo. Can you please advise me of the sales success from sending 1000 sms? I have not done any sms marketing in past. Thanks for your great share.

Plenty of services out there, I would recommend searching "sms provider" on Google

I don't use it, but another alternative to smscaster could be a service at mobileautoresponder.com. They charge a flat rate and you can use web to text forms as well as short codes for all one fee. Seems like a good deal, because they don't have any extra costs. I was also reading that they allow unlimited subscribers So, just another alternative to help those figure out what service to use.

Darrett, also don't be shy about calling texting providers, I'm sure as a vendor we're all more than happy to work with you.
