Im talking about Doctors that are busy and never answer the phone themselves or will probably not be reachable if you make an in office visit and most likely not by email either. Not necessarily doctors but that's one group I would like to target. |

One thing about Doctors is you might have to "woo" them, maybe a little more than other businesses. Think of it in terms of the way a drug rep would approach the doctor, and maybe start by wooing the staff. I would try calling the offices, getting in touch with the office manager. Most Doctors have a office manager that will review all marketing materials. Try finding out what their marketing needs are so you can show them how a mobile site will increase traffic to them.

good point but the office manager may be completely indifferent while the doctor may love it, so i need to reach the doctor first.

I do like the idea of getting a bunch of envelopes from your local courier company and then dropping them off in those envelopes addressed to the owner. | |

As posted earlier in the thread its all about getting to and through the gate keeper in most cases the office manager. But who are we kidding most doctors in today's day and age have at the very least a Blackberry to keep them connected and are proficient in emails. A targeted email direct to the doctors email account can be the first step to getting yourself in the door. Good luck! |
