Is it practical to have image slider galleries on a mobile site? Is it possible?

Yes, it's both practical and possible. Make sure and optimize the images as much as possible to minimize file size and loading times.

Yes. I have seen it used on mobile sites. I think Templatic has them. I like your EZ Mobile sales page. Very nice. |

Yes it's the loading time that's going to be the deal-breaker with a mobile site. I guess optimizing the graphics to take up as little space as possible...

Yes its very easy to do and can make your site look unique. If you check our mobile site you will see the scrolling images on top which can also be swiped or tapped to be linked to an internal page. brick&mobile | Mobile Marketing Made Easy Save your images as .png files as they compress nicely and you can save without backgrounds. Hope this helps. |

It's definitely possible and definitely enhances the user experience. Users love to play with sliders on their phone. The woothemes free jquery flexslider is very flexible (no pun intended) and works great on mobile sites. http://www.woothemes.com/flexslider/ |
