Feedback on Selling Mobile Web Sites
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

I have come across a few businesses in my local area that have websites and have flash content and no mobile webites, I was gonna target them first since it would be perfect to show them their site on a iPhone and then a mockup site.

I then noticed that the web designer they use has designed sites for many of the companies in my local area that I wanted to target.

Have you noticed the customer just going back to the designer to make them a mobile site. Maybe the designer will them offer them a better price. (I did see that the current web designer does make mobile sites)

I was going to approach with designing website first and selling it, and then slowly introduce the benefits of running an SMS campaign -

I guess its part of the business, was curious if anyone found a way of the customer using you instead of their current web designer who they have already established a relationship with.

Was looking for some feedback or advice when selling mobile websites as I am about to start and would love to hear your experience or thoughts. Trying to be prepared and map out a plan

Thank you

I'd like to know how to deal with this situation since I wanted to target a hair salon with mobile site, but noticed their web designer is a local seo company.

How do we offer them a mobile site without them just going back to their web desin or seo company that did their regular site?

Any ideas on how deal with these scenarios?

Seems like as long as you are prepared and do your research it will pay off. I think you have to adapt to the situation and owner. Since my intention is to sell the site and slowly introduce the other benefits of mobile marketing, I may just offer the site for free with a 30 day trial and charge a little more on the monthly service .

i am just getting my feet wet and have a lot to learn.

I would approach it in a way that their current developer hasn't suggested they need a mobile site...may not even know perhaps..you will come across as the authority in relation to mobile marketing and strategies to get them noticed on the mobile web.....and to be able to get them more customers
